Stayed 4 nights at the alixares hotel, granada at the end of september. the location was perfect for visiting the alhambra - just a 2 minute walk. it was easy to get to on public transport (c3/c4 buses). hotel facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful. i really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in granada. i would recommend it to anyone visiting the palace.

It was surprisingly cold and wet in granada and whilst we wandered around the alhambra. but the alixares was wonderfully warm and cheerful, staff atentative. however, but they were extremely busy with weddings and tour company guests - so we could not eat at the hotel for lunch. but no matter we still had a wonderful time. we would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again!
