Great weekend stay

We stayed here for the all ireland weekend and had a great time. the location just of o,connell st. was great and we walked everywhere. the hotel was busy but the reception staff where very helpful and we'll mannered. we got up graded on our arrival which was good but the room was spotless and clean and comfortable for a weekend away. we will definitely be back to this hotel on our next visit to dublin.

Dublin best western

The room we were given smelt strongly of cigarette smoke (although it was a no-smoking room) but when i complained we were immediately switched to another room. hotel was quite noisy in the corridor at night but it is a budget priced hotel in a central location so i think that comes with the territory. the (second) room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and there was a good power shower. we had free internet in the room. we had continental breakfast in with our package - the croissants were warm and fresh.

Great place to stay!

Usually a bit of a snob with hotels i booked this one because of the reviews i read. it was all lovely and new, very clean and in a great place for everything. not noisey just a great comfortable room - should be a 4 * (i have stayed in 5* hotels not as good as this one!)

Ok mid range hotel

Tyhe hotel is well situated right on the airport bus route, and about 10 minutes walk from o'connell bridge. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean and well equipped. beds and pillows rather unforgiving. breakfast basic hotel, with no soya or similar yoghurt (only full fat sugary ones), and the fruit was mostly pear and apple: attention to small details like this would actually make huge improvements. bar quite expensive, with no malt whisky on offer ! bear in mind children under 16 may not be allowed in the bar after 2100.

Great for a short break in dublin

Good hotel - great location ( not too noisy ) despite it closeness to o'connell street. rooms were very clean & we ate chinese in hotel & food was delicious. really handy to use the 747 dublin bus from the airport and the dublin sightseeing hop on hop off bus stops across the road. only downside was that breakfast was a little chaotic. all in all we had a great stay.

Much nicer than expected

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival as we thought we had booked a budget hotel, it was really nice! rooms were a decent size, plenty of storage and shower was wonderful. everything was newly decorated and cleaned every day. i had best nights sleep ever whilst away due to the lovely memory foam bed and cosy quilt. only problem was we couldn't get heating turned up and it was a bit cold but am sure if we had asked they would have sorted it. good location, quiet but close to everything. good breakfast, plenty of choice (plates a bit small so have to go back twice. lol. staff friendly and helpful. if i were to go back to dublin would stay there again but unlikely as dublin is far too expensive. spent a fortune on just two nights away. meals are expensive and we were paying between 11 and 13 euros for 2 glasses of wine or 2 pints lager. actually the hotel was cheaper than a lot of other places for drinks.

You must stay here

Five of us stayed here,a twin room and a treble . my 3rd time staying in dublin but first for my daughter, mum, sister and my son's girlfriend,(ages 16 to 67yrs!), a pleasant girlie weekend a 16th birthday and to do xmas shoping .this was the best hotel and the perfect location you could ever ask for as it was in the heart of the city but just out of any noise.there was a bar next door to the hotel but we had absolutely no problem with noise what so ever. we bought return, air coach (12euro) transfer tickets from airport into o'connell st dublin and got off just around the corner from the hotel which was a direct route into the centre and a few seconds walk perfect!. the hotel reception was very welcoming , bright, clean and a sence of "a good choice of hotel feeling". we were thrilled with our rooms. breakfast was very nice and set us up for most of the day.plentifull!.we all said we would return. hotel click was superb too.the hotel had a lot of facilities to offer but we were there for only two nights. we will return.
