Lets make this short. it's not the shangri-la but it's in a neighborhood where the shangri la should be. yorkville is a very opulent area and has an abundance of nearby shops that are a little on the pricey side. for the location, the price is unmatchable. everything was fine except two things. lots of mildew in the corner of the shower and the wifi did not work properly (at least in room 508). also had a strange run in with the front desk who claimed i was not the age i said i was even though my id proved i was right but that was quickly resolved. overall, it's a basic place with a great price and excellent location. normal budget hotel
