Good alternative in expensive newport

With the alternatives being expenses hotels in newport, i would recommend this one as an a valid alternative. it's about a 4 minute drive to newport centre and they run a shuttle service to the town (although 8$ per person). had what seemed to look a nice restauarnt area although we didn't use it. nothing wrong with the rooms at all.
