Westayed here for one night after a cruise. the hotel is very well located to a vaparetto stop and close to san marco square and the rialto bridge. it is a busy neightborhood so if you want queit and out of the way this is not it, but if you want to be in the "heart of everything" this is a good location. the rooms were nice and the bathrooms were large by venice standards (they had bath tubs!) the service and the front desk staff were all very nice. no standouts, but everyone was polite. one room was not ready on time but that was not an issue for us and everything was very clean. there is also a large sitting area in the lobby with water and cookies and there is decent wifi all over the hotel. the breakfast was excellent and there was more than enough room in the breakfast area for the busy rush which can be an issue in some other hotels. i have stayed at some more intimate and personal hotels in venice but i certainly would recommend this hotel for the location, size of the rooms and the breakfast.
