Lovely

My husband and i were celebrating out 6th anniversary for the weekend, it was comfortable but what i was frustrated about was that the room we got had 2 twin beds as opposed to 1 king. i am guessing this was all that was available i am not quite sure., we didn't bother to ask to get it switched because i am sure that would have delayed our check in (4pm) we made do with what was given since we were only their for the weekend. i think that having a check out at noon is great, you do not feel rushed. breakfast was nice, decent variety (mostly sweet items), hot savory items available for purchase. you have to cross the street to get to the beach, strange but thats just the way it is on the captiva side, we visited the sanibel side before and that was on the beach. this resort is about 30 from the causeway. friendly staff. parking is limited and on a first come first serve basis. we visited the spa and they were very accommodating with us because of the unforeseen traffic to get there, we got there 30 minutes late and they were still able to fit us in however i do not feel like the massage i got targeted what i wanted, she did not concentrate on what i asked, so that was very disappointing.
