Hôtel très propre situé à 100 mètres du métro juste en façe de l aéroport accueil très sympathique et chambres très propres encore un grand merci à toute l equipe

What you see is what you get!

I was looking for a hotel near the excel centre at a fair price. i got 4 nights here (including a full breakfast) for $410 canadian dollars! the hotel is easy to get to from heathrow (paddington express, bakerloo/jubilee/dlr) in just over an hour. it is a 5 minute walk from the dlr station, if that. the hotel is clean, the lobby has the excellent breakfast room and bar/restaurant, which definitely serves its purpose. the rooms are large, bright and clean, with a desk. there is free internet in the lobby, that did not work 2 of the 4 days i was there. when it works, it is fine. intenet in the rooms is way too expensive. there is only soap in the room. there is no shampoo in the room, so be prepared to bring your own or pay 5 pounds in the lobby vending machine. i arrived at 1 pm, and needed to pay 10 pounds to check in, or wait to 3 pm! it is about 40 minutes by tube to central london. this is an excellent buy, good location (especially if you need to be at the excel centre), good breakfast, no surprises. a few downsides, but bearable for the excellent price.

Fantastic!!

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family! we had a family room where there were windows ceiling to floor over looking the airport, thames river and regatta centre. although we were so close to the airport, you'd never know! on arrival it was night and we couldn't see out of the window so had no clue until the following morning what we were about to see the next morning. the room (well the whole hotel really) was clean, airy and spacious. the staff were brilliant, they were still chirpy at 11pm after a long day and ready to help as and when required, nothing was too much and they seemed like they enjoyed helping. it's not just a job to them. we checked out at 9am on the thursday and proceeded into london town on our return we chanced our arm and asked if it would be possible to have a cup of tea and use they facilities before we departed on our journey back to plymouth and they were brilliant, they lent us a key to go past the door to the bathroom and served for our tea whilest instigating a conversation on how our day had been with genuine interest. we cannot speak highly enough! keep up the good work guys! the hotel itself is a 3 min walk to the dlr and only 2 stops away from the tube line into the city.

Decent

I spent two nights on the hotel (30.12- 1.1). the room was not big but it had a comfortable large bed. there was no wardrobe and no refrigerator. the breakfast was convenient, but the staff was sometimes rude (i.e. there was a lady in the breakfast hall waiting over our heads to clean the table and it was far before the buffet was closing). the hotel is five minutes walk from the closest dlr station, but 45 minutes ride away from central london.

Bon rapport qualité / prix

Accès direct du centre de londres par ligne de métro "dlr" (env. 15-20 min). environs assez déserts, mais pas de sentiment d'insécurité. peu d'activités dans les environs : préférer une soirée dans le centre de londres et retour avant la fermeture du métro (0h30).

Far out of centre but good hotel

Was almost 1 hour from centre but price was good .room good.no air con .staff were good.bit noises if you sleep with window open but this is london.would go back.i thought girls were very good on reception.

Alles andere als sauber

Wir waren zu zweit in einem doppelzimmer (gebucht war ein zweibettzimmer, aber so was haben die gar nicht) für 5 nächte. die lage des hotels ist okay, eine dlr station ist in unmittelbarer nähe, und auch der cityairport ist direkt nebenan. es dauert ca 45 minuten bis man in der city ist. bei ankunft war das zimmer sauber und modern eingerichtet. tag um tag hatte ich das gefühl, dass überhaupt nicht mehr sauber gemacht wurde. haare lagen noch auf dem boden - vor allem hinter der badezimmertür. auch der teppich wurde nicht gesaugt, sowohl im zimmer als auch auf dem flur nicht. der staubsauger war dann wohl nur zierde neben den putzutensilien der putzfrau. das frühstück war vollkommen okay. es gab würstchen, rührei, angebratener gekochter schinken (kein bacon wohlgemerkt), bohnen, toast (vollkorn und weißbrot) und crossaints. kaffeespezialitäten, orangen- und apfelsaft, verschiedene cornflakes standen auch zur verfügung. obwohl wir zwei personen waren, bekamen wir immer nur ein handtuch zum duschen. man musste sich dann an der rezeption noch welche nach holen. unsere zimmerkarte funktionierte den halben aufenthalt nicht. jedes mal wenn wir aus der city ins hotel kamen, wurde sie irgendwie dekodiert und wir mussten jedes mal das personal um hilfe beten. in der lobby befindet sich ein snackautomat, welcher auch gekühlte getränke hat. die preise dafür sind okay.

Good!

Good access to excel london with not so expencive price. reception was really kind. restaurant was also good, they provide one plate from 6 paunds.
