I am not easy to please when it come to hotels but the ritz catlton toronto exceeded all expectations. centralized location, wonderful hospitality, beautiful spa, outdoor lounge, and fresh clean rooms, not to mention one of the best club lounges i've seen so far in my travels.

This is an excellent hotel, offering impecable service, spacious and luxuriously appointed rooms. the location is perfect for business or just about anything downtown. the hotel staff are very attentive and courteous. at times there were long waits for the elevators. the restaurant, toca is wonderful as is the outdoor terrace bar. the wine selection by the glass is lacking but i will definitely return the next time i have a need for downtown accommodations.

I tried to change my reservation. hotelclick said it was past my cancellation date so they could not even re-schedule my stay. when i arrived i was kindly greeted by reception and they answered all my questions about local clubs and restaurants. when i went to the ritz in south beach, miami, there were high quality bath robes, high quality bvlgari soaps, shampoos and lotions. in toronto the products weren't as good. the water bottles were branded by the ritz carlton in miami, but in toronto they were labeled eska. the bose speakers only had a iphone 4 docking station. im pretty sure most people that go to the ritz can afford to upgrade from iphone 4 to 5. when i stayed at the trump hotel in toronto, someone knocked on my door and offered to polish my shoes, offered bottled water, and chocolates. the ritz offered in-room dining with 50% gratuity automatically added to your bill! you're better off staying at the trump or shangri-la
