Lovely hotel and staff. room spacious, clean, quiet with nice ammenitites if decorated a little blandly, food wasnt great. breakfast cold. car parking up the street but you can pull up outside hotel and leave luggage at reception. no hens or stags appear to have been in the hotel, perhaps because no fancy dress allowed in the bar.

Perfect for our stay in kilkenny. location, room, cleanliness, breakfast, parking, staff, facilities etc etc - everything was great and i would highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price.

We stayed in a twin room at the pembroke kilkenny for three nights. the staff were very welcoming and friendly. as it was too early to check into our rooms and we had to be at a conference in another location they took our bags and placed them in our room for us when it became available so that we didn't have to do that on our late return to the hotel. the room was spacious and clean with tea/ coffee making facilities and an iron/ironing board. breakfast was good with efficient staff bringing coffee/tea to table without delay it was a pleasant stay and i would recommend this hotel, which is in a good location and is good value for money.

The welcome by lucie was warm and efficient. the family room was large, extremely clean and well laid out. the air conditioning was on so the room felt fresh. the beds were very comfortable and the toiletries in the bathroom more than adequate and replenished daily. also we noticed that housekeeping had included three sets of towels and tea/coffee supplies, which is not always the case in family rooms. breakfast was excellent, the cooked food was constantly fresh and not overly greasy. the eggs were particularly good! the staff at breakfast, although busy, were very friendly and helpful. overall, the pembroke is a great hotel and i would not hesitate to recommend it.
