Kingsbury is very pleasant compared to other hotels in colombo, but there is noisy construction work going on even inside the hotel, 2 nights i stayed on same trip with a day's gap proved that there was some drilling and hammering work going on, i had to call and make several complaints before they stopped. rest is good. rooms are small, bathrooms smaller, but cooling is great. beds are very comfortable, the towels need improvement, they are very thin and threadbare and my bath towel had some pink policy splatters. was stop tired to tell the housekeeping late at nights. overall i like the pleasant large windows and light and light colored furnishings. they need to improve their service maybe because now they are getting a lot of guests and can't seem to cope with the numbers.
