I have stayed at the pavillions a number of times and would recommend it for location, it's wonderful large gardens heated swimming pools, etc. it is worth mentioning that the grounds are shared with the old winter palace, whose five star restaraunts and bar are open to pavillion guests. the winter palace was the hotel used by lord caernarvon when he visited luxor on his many visits to see howard carter and the valley of the kings. his rooms are still in use by guests.
