Pobyt 4 dni w paradise bay resort

Hotel ciekawy, czysty. pościel zmieniana codziennie, tak samo sprzątanie. mogę przyczepiać się tylko do wyżywienia tj. śniadań. w hotelu 4* jajecznica chyba z proszku, kiełbaski nie dobre. ogólnie za cenę pobytu ze śniadaniem muszę przyznać że było ok. polecam.

Second time in this hotel

After 2 years spent hollidays there. hotel is nice on nice place. correct breakfast, nice stuff. poor wi-fi - free one in loby and payable in room. public bus connestion becomes awfull. first time we neded aprox. 1h to valletta. this year double. there is no sunday morning sleep in street oriented rooms as maltese bikers meet at ferry place and use the road for kind of race or test track from 7 a.m.

Hotel teoretycznie 4 gwiazdkowy w rzeczywistości powinien mieć dwie: - wi-fi tylko w holu - bardzo słabe - na korytarzu specyficzny zapach, widoczny grzyb na ścianie (metr na metr,) - monotonne śniadania aczkolwiek duży wybór - wzdłuż hotelu ruchliwa tj. głośna droga - pod oknem naszego pokoju głośny wentylator załączany rano o 7 godzinie - tv - stary kineskopowy - trzeszczy - obsługa życzliwa, pokoje codziennie sprzątane - świeże ręczniki

Excellent hotel and helpful staff

Malta is one of the best place to visit specially in april when it is not busy. the hotel paradise bay resort is in good location, easy access to public transport and ferries. the hotel staff was polite and very helpful, i asked for extra bed for 15 months old and they provide one within few minutes. overall i am pleased with the service received by hotel/staff and recommend to everyone.

Great weekend

Paradise bay week

This hotel is a stones throw away from the ferry port to malta and the rooms although all face the sea from some angle its either facing the busy port road or over the pool. we had 3 rooms all at different sides and all 3 couples found it noisy. the disabled room was not equiped properly and the only difference with that bathroom and the other 2 we had was a lower bath so putting my disabled father inthebathwas not at all easy. thehotel indoor poolwasbeing renovated so was out of action and a reason we bookedso we could take my father inthe pool. we were not warned about this and we booked in may so they must have known, this was not really good practise. the breakfast was poor with old or overcooked hot food options. the restaurant not the buffet hall was of poor standard. he evening entertainment up to 2 star standard and on the whole apart from the facilities this hotel would rate no higher than a 3 star. we have stayed in 4 star hotels all over the world and this hotel does not compare. he staff are friendly and helpful

Aufenthalt

Finde das hotel ganz schön alles ordnung. da gibt es zwei deutsche mit arbeiteren, die helfen und beraten gerne. verkehr ist ganz gut bis 21 uhr. taxi kostet nicht so viel 10 euro von san julien bis zum hotel. also ruhig, sauber, nette leute. brucht man nichts mehr glaube ich.

Bad and good things

We had booked a familie room for 4 people, but the reception expected only 2 people and the hotels doesn't have any family rooms, so they squeezed 2 extra beds into a normal hotel room. the 2 extra beds looked like they had been used for 30 years in some dungeons in the 15th century. it is unclear if the hotel or hotelsclick was to blame for this misunderstanding. the hotel is old. one morning there were no water in the toilets in all hotel - for several hours - not very nice. the cleaning was poor. because of very very very poor roads the drive from hotel to airport, sliema or valletta is looong. the evening entertainment was noisy rubbish. the staff was very friendly. the breakfast was good. the beach was small but very good. nice sand on beach and the first 5-10 meters in water. the marked swimming area was also very nice for snorkeling. i think i saw at least 50 different fish and animals. there is a small diving school and shop on the beach with very helpful and friendly people. they sell good cheap snorkeling gear and make sure you get a mask that fits.

Nice hotel

If you are looking for a nice quiet hotel this is it. but it is not a partyhotel. me and my boyfriend were probably thirty years younger than most guests. but since we wanted a vacation and not a lot of party this hotel were nice. wonderful view from our room with seaview. really clean and nice hotelroom. the food in the restaurants were ok, but a bit pricy. since it is pretty far away from anything, except gozo and the blue lagoon, be prepared for travelling by bus or taxi a lot. the only negative i have to say is that we ordered a room with double bed, but got a room with two beds instead. strongly recommended!

Excellent value for money

We paid 27€ per night so we did not have high expectations, but overall we have had an very pleasant stay. we were first given a twin room instead of a double room but the receptionists fixed this after one night. the hotel is located within walking distance to ferries to gozo and comino, and just a few minutes drive to the best beaches of malta (paradise bay, golden sands, ghahn tuffieha, mellieha...) which was very convenient. the "sea view" rooms face towards the north, with the road nearby and views to comino and gozo. the "bay view" (the best, probably quieter) rooms face beautiful paradise bay and its cliffs. the rooms are simple but veeery large, clean, the bathrooms are recent, but the beds (at least ours) are a little bit old. the breakfast buffet has a broad range to offer, nothing was missing, i guess everyone will be pleased. the restaurant of the hotel (the one close to the reception) is very good, with reasonable prices. the hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool, a shop (souvenirs, but also food and stuff you could have forgotten at home) and games (pool, table tennis), which we didn't use by lack of time.

Nice hotel :)

That is a nice hotel, located 200 meters from ferry to gozo. taste breakfast. tennis courts, animations (e.g table tennis, bulles, streatching etc.). i rather reccomend this hotel.

Money for nothing

Reserved and paid room with a sea view - no. got a room with a view to the building in front of us. fighted with reception for 2 days to get a better view. access to malta – no. without a rented car it will take a lot of time to get to any malta attractions quet place – no. poor noise isolation between rooms, doors close with a sound of a shot-gun. family hotel – no. a lot of drunk teenagers. free intrernet - no. free only at lobby and is very unstable, takes up to 5 min to connect. breakfast - good. pool - ok. size of the room - ok.

Clear dissapoinment, the hotel is overestimated

We purchased the room "with sea view" - got one with a "view" to the building in front of the hotel. after 2 days fighting with reception and try to contact management got the better one. so "room with a sea view" - hard to get even if paid. good access to malta - no. very far from everything, the only solution is to rent a car. good area - no. no restaurants, no shops, no entertainment in the surrounding area. quiet place - no. very bad noise isolation, you hear everything that happens in the neighbour rooms. doors close with the sound of a shot gun. family hotel - no. at our stay the hotel was full of drunk teenagers. free internet - only at the lobby, very unstable if several persons use it.

Surely not as expected

We expected that this hotel would be much better. the educated receptionist showed us how to get to our room. we had to take a long walk to a very not well maintained lift. afterwards, we had to walk to get to our room in a very strong smell of paint which was unbearable. since my girlfriend suffers from asthma we surely were not going to be able to stay a 3 night stay in that strong smell. as we entered the room, there was a very outdated furniture and the curtains was not in a good condition. i immediately went to the reception to check if there was another room available since my girlfriend could not bare with the strong smell. she offered us a very small room which was the only one available for our dates. we accepted to change the room as there were no smell in it and neither the furniture was outdated. we were also disappointed with the breakfast since there weren't any fruits, eggs were only scrambled and also the food quality was not as high as expected. definitly not to be compared with a 4 star hotel in malta.

Great base for gozo ferry

Soggiorno all' hotel paradise bay: assolutamente non male

Se non siete prevenuti per un alloggio grande, un po' vecchiotto e se avete noleggiato un auto puo' essere una buona soluzione .. se volete andare a malta per fare vita notturna ..allora siamo lontani da tutto cio' . cmq piu' che buono in bassa stagione e le recensioni negative forse si riferiscono a luglio agosto

Nice vacation

My wife and i were fifth time on malta. we tried diferent hotels. fortina in sliema was among them but paradise bay is the best till now. everything was as descripted in hotels click description or better. minuses which we were aweare before booking are: hotel is distanced from valeta, room 238 is not recomended for high season how it looks to restaurant terace. there are pluses also: picefull nature location, close to gozo ferry. we recomend it! it's perfect for nice holidays.

Hotel da famiglie

Hotel gusto inglese con camere grandi ed essenziali e bagno senza bidet. panorami stupendi soprattutto al tramonto nel lato verso paradise bay.ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo in formula b/b. comodo per famiglie e pet la vicinanza ai traghetti per gozo e comino. non lo consiglio a chi cerca vita notturna o mondana.

Worse hotel stay ever!

I stayed here on bb basis and the reason why i chose this hotel was so that we could enjoy the pool area. since we had an event at 4 that afternoon i asked if we can check in 1 hour before so at 2 instead of at 3, they said no check in is strictly at 3. fine, instead of checking in the afternoon we checked in after the event at 2am. the next morning i went to check what time we can check out and we told that it's at 11 and if we go over this time we will be fined! nice.. then i was also told that if we plan to stay by the pool we will be charged 32 euro per person! this is ridiculous if you are a guest in the hotel you should be able to enjoy the facilities of the hotel! the inflexibility of this hotel is a big negative. the hotel is definitively not at 4 star, it is outdated! the room overlooked the street. there are loads of better hotels to stay in than paradise bay.

Nel ristorante a volte si sentiva qualche odore non perfetto. la scelta del buffet non era propriamente da 4 stelle. le bevande sia cioccolata calda sia succhi di frutta erano poco concentrate, a volte i piatti non erano ben puliti. i tavoli al mattino non erano apparecchiati. anche a cena, il buffet non era ricchissimo, anche se migliore di quello della colazione. i soft drink (succhi e acqua) erano disponibili solo a colazione. a volte in camera non mettevano tutte le cose a posto: facendolo presente poi le mettevano (cambio asciugamani e gel doccia). inoltre, la camera era comunicante con un'altra camera e si sentivano molti rumori molesti, di mattina presto specialmente. per tutto il resto, la struttura merita le 4 stelle.

Frequent visitor

We stayed at this hotel in a sea view room. room and bathroom were both spacious and well furnished. rooms were kept really clean. reception and restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful. the location of the hotel near the gozo ferry is perfect for a cross over while location was peaceful at the same time. very easy to go for a walk in the countryside and within a short distance. very good views of comino, gozo and the sunset over the horizon. in fact, we already booked another stay for the coming days. looking forward
