The hotel was a great location directly opposite the parliament building and between two major bridges . the hotel was clean and the room adaquate. however on our first night we arrived at 9.15 and the reception staff were really good . the restaurant closed at 10pm we dropped our cases off and went down by 9.30 pm to eat something light. the waitress with long blonde hair gave one off the worst silent reactions ever! so did the young man with his hair in a bun . the barman wasn’t much better . it was so unwelcoming and the restaurant was not busy. the blonde waitress finally said we could eat but still no smile ! but a great scowl ! we had something light which wasn’t that wonderful i would say on a level with the service!, needless to say for the 4 days we were there we didn’t bother to eat there again. the breakfasts were mediocre and the staff although far more welcoming were very noisy .
