Pulizia minima, ogni volta dovevamo rincorrere la cameriera del piano per farci sostituire le salviette del bagno altrimenti non ci venivano cambiate; tra la giornata del 19 agosto ed il 20 agosto hanno esaurito tutte le salviette della piscina e siamo stati obbligati ad utilizzare quelle del bagno della camere. piscina pulita e calda, buono il ristorante dell'ultimo piano; posizione comoda dell'hotel però havana vecchia raggiungibile in taxi, colazione buona ed abbondante.

Although the experience was mostly very positive, one of the most basic things was quite deficient - the sheets and blankets furnished for the king-sized bed must have come from a single order for double beds, as there was no way they covered the whole bed. and the lack of contour sheets added to the misery of trying to sleep all night. i would suggest reviewing your procurement of sheets and blankets, so that one size fits all could be modified to the criterion that these should fit the size of the bed. the second major shortcoming, which is not uncommon in havana since coming there several times, is the state of the internet. it didn't help that the attitude of those at the lobby desk (not the reception desk) was rather rude - perhaps it was the lack of english that made them so. now for the positive items: the cleaning crew, the restaurant staff, and the reception desk staff were all quite well-trained and very pleasant and knowledgeable. also, the room was quite clean and the food for breakfast very bountiful. the food at the restaurant on the top floor was also very good and the waitstaff quite pleasant. i realize the capri has just re-opened after ten years of shuttering, but the management has quickly taken charge and made for a most pleasant stay - except for the sheets and blankets. thank you.

Very friendly staff. facility probably 3 stars. very limited food options. but that was true of most places in havana. mostly italian food.

Hotels in cuba must still be graded on a curve. the rooms were clean with a mini fridge and air conditioning was superb. staff was generally top notch. although recently restored, the hotel is already showing relatively minor signs of neglected upkeep, with worn carpets in the halls, tile floors with dents and wear, shower mechanics with minor problems, lack of drain plugs and other minor issues. the linens were clean and the beds were comfortable but the pillows were horrible- hard as rocks. i missed having ability to make coffee in the room and although the free breakfast was generally pretty good, the coffee was awful, except for the espresso and cappuccino made behind the bar.

We stayed here one night each before and after a cruise. it is a little far from the pier but the room was clean and everything worked great.

l'accueil est très lent et l'on s'aperçoit que les employés sont des fonctionnaires non motivés !pour avoir un surclassement nous avons donné 50 cucs en cash ; évidemment l'imprimante ne fonctionnait pas donc pas de facture .. etions au 16 éme étage avec une vue moche sur des immeubles délabrés et des piscines vides , seul avantage vu notre surclassement le petit déjeuner pouvait être pris sur le toit plutôt que dans la cave ..

Muy buenas habitaciones, excelente desayuno, pero personal de recepción muy poco preparado para ayudarte u orientarte. el personal de seguridad de la puerta muy atentos y son lo que nos orientaron y ayudaron.

Pleasant stay. reception needs to improve but the staff was generally pleasant and helpful. easy connection to old havana and downtown.
