The hotel is exactly what you pay for.we find this hotel because of the location which is exellent and the price because it was the only hotel that offers a breakfast in the same price.it was clean ,everyday we had new towels and are romms were cleaned.i recommend this hotel for a short stay in paris.i will go back there again for sure.

We were for four nights. the hotel is good situated (near a metro station so) so you may reach easily every point in paris. the lift was not working and it was problematic to climb the stairs with a suitcase. the room was ok but my expectations about the cleanness of the bathroom were higher. though the breakfast was announced as 'continental', the only 'salty' thing was processed cheese. but generally for its price the hotel was perfect!

Albergo da voi suggeritomi in sostituzione dell americain non disponibile. negativo su tutti i fronti,solo la posizione centrale da rilevare di positivo.camere piccolissime,letto matrimoniale da 125 cm di larghezza!!!!bagno no comment. prezzo elevato rispetto ad altri nella zona di stesso livello.servizi assolutamente insufficienti...vorrei sapere dove hanno alloggiato alcuni che in certe recensioni davano voti più che sufficienti!!!!non consigliatelo più,sarebbe meglio. saluti mauro

The hotel is situated very close to the metro and short walking distance to maraise. the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is included in the price. when we stayed there it was also very quiet. the hotels biggest challenge is the cleaning. the person who cleaned the rooms was very friendly, but perhaps she had to many rooms to clean? we had two rooms and both were dirty. the bathrooms seems unhygienic. under the bed it was thick layers of dust and different "left overs". the fan did not work, and it was extremely hot during the night. we asked for a new one, and was given promises several times, but no new fan.

L'hotel è davvero vicinissimo alla fermata della metro quindi comodissimo x raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione. in zona ci sono alcune brasserie e ristoranti in cui poter mangiare. noi avevamo una stanza abbastanza grande e con l'ascensore (inizialmente ce ne aveva destinata un'altra in cui si arrivava senza ascensore, ma avendo molti bagagli quando gli ho chiesto di cambiare con una stanza munita di ascensore ci hanno accontentato senza problemi. c'è un computer con collegamento internet a disposizione dei clienti. colazione senza pretese ma piacevole.

Siamo stati all'hotel croix de malte nel febbraio 2009. ci siamo trovati molto bene e l'albergo era proprio quello che mi aspettavo. una struttura semplice ma ben tenuta. le camere erano piccole ma pulite e arredate in modo semplice ma accogliente. buono anche il buffet della colazione. molto gentile il personale. lo consiglierei sicuramente a chi soggiorna a parigi per godersi una bellissima città e non per avere un albergo lussuoso. comodissima la metro proprio fuori l'albergo. noi cenavamo in place de la bastille e poi rientravamo a piedi in 10 min di gradevole passeggiata.

Nous avons disposé d"une twin spacieuse, bien équipée et propre. dommage que les rideaux laissent filtrer la lumière du réverbère à ce point. les employés sont particulièrement sympathiques et serviables, de jour comme de nuit. petit déjeuner continental avec horaires étalés très appréciables. quartier agréable et très facile d'accès. escaliers en travaux pendant notre séjour et ascenseur capricieux.

This hotel is suitable for couples wanting to stay a couple of nights in paris. close to metro and lots of eateries yet quiet. room was a bit cramped and some fixtures in bathroom need attention but bed was comfortable. friendly staff and nice breaky area.

I had previously stayed at croix de malte ten years ago, originally discovered it by web search as i wanted a hotel that was in an area of paris that reflected the parisienne way of life. it was perfect then and it was perfect now. i was a little concerned that the standards etc would be as good ten years on but they too were just the same. the reception staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast very pleasant and unhurried. metro connections excellent, just at the end of the road. the hotel has a lift, but if elderly ask for a room without the spiral staircase to the bathroom. some rooms are larger than others.
