I have known this hotel for many years. in its latest incarnation the reception has gone more 'bling' than ever. the gym is first class - and the panorama restaurant remains absolutely first class. the room was a little 'tired' but perfectly comfortable - and i got such a good rate thru hotelsclick.com that i certainly couldn't complain

What i like : kempinski sofia has a great location, with nice restaurants and a well equipped gym. rooms are clean and comfortable. they have free and strong wi-fi and free safe parking. what i dislike : no spa . breakfast must be improved.

Please be carefull by calling a taxi over porter. one of the porter called us a taxi driver to airport with faked taximeter (after hundred meters we had on taximeter more as we went to city centre).

Das hotel hat in der mehrzahl der zimmer die besten zeiten lange überstanden, die möbel sind mehr als abgenutzt, das bad sieht aus wie in den 70/80iger jahren und insgesamt erinnerte in meinem abgesehen vom namen nichts an ein erstklassiges 5*haus. es soll renovierte zimmer geben, die entsprechend der bilder wohl um ein erhebbliches besser sind. werde dieses hotel auf keinen fall wieder buchen!!!
