Excellent location, hidden gem

We only stayed for 1 night wish it could have been longer. once you get used to everything being black, it is superb. excelllent room, very good price, only slight downside as weather was very hot, and windows only open a little way, room was hot but a fan had been placed in room. the room was very good size and contained everything we needed. the staff were all very friendly and there is a good atmosphere in the hotel bar. also a good cooked breakfast but be ware as always in ireland the portions are large. the hotel is in superb location only being over the road from the traffic free city centre bars etc. and only a 15 minute stroll form the titanic exhibition centre. would certainly stay again when in belfast

Quirky and modern

The malmaison hotel is in a superb location; convenient to shops, bars and restaurants. the staff are friendly, welcoming and available at all times. the standard room was fully equipped with a very comfortable bed. the furniture throughout the hotel was quirky and modern. the rooms, reception and bar were spotless. the food was also very good. the only complaint i would have is that the bar stocked very few beers.

Belfast shopping break

On arrival at the malmaison you are instantley put at ease and very much welcomed by polite, attentive and friendly staff. thedecore of the room was very nice, however the room was a bit on the small side and the carpet could have dne with a shampoo. throughout my stay i found all the staff at the hotel extremely friendly and helpful and the craic was great with them. really enjoyed my stay, definitley would stay again.

Short say in belfast before christmas

Usually have a weekend away before christmas and decided on belfast this year as we have family there and had never spent more than a few hours in the city centre. chose malmaison as we like boutique hotels and this looked luxurious and a good location. pros good level of furniture and services in room, quiet due to old building having thick walls floors, sensible size bathroom shower gel/shampoo. cons further from city centre than i had realised for walking but still no more than 10 minutes, reception a little too relaxed people milling around with no sense of order who was next in line, room a little small and bed rather too firm. room dark and lighting poor if you like to read in bed.

Great stay in this hotel, the room was excellent for the money paid. would highly reccomend this hotel.
