The leeson inn is well located off st. stephen's green and a comfortable walk to several museums, temple bar and grafton street and waterfront areas. unbeknownst to us lower leeson is a "clubbing" street and on fri/sat evenings wild gatherings spill out of the clubs onto the street until 3-4 a.m., with car alarms going off, shouting, etc. the people at reception are an ever changing group, friendly, but not very knowledgeable. you can't make phone calls from the room, even with calling cards; they will take messages for you. breakfast fine, cleanliness fine, room basic. safe area - just noisy on weekends.
