Rainy rome

The hotel is very well located adjacent to the forum, the colliseum and the circus maximus.it is quiet, tranquil and overall very pleasant. the nearby cav alvaro al circo massimo is a delightful place to eat: the environment is pleasant, the food, especially the fresh fish and the pasta,is really very good, the family who own and run it are friendly and it is inexpensive. unfortunately, my wife's bag was stolen from under our noses in the hotel at breakfast. the front of house manager showed admirable concern and was most helpful. the staff too were helpful and did all they could. for example we observed a member of staff checking the rubbish bins in the street, presumably in the hope that the thief would discard the bag having removed what was of interest to him/her.
