We stayed here for 4 nights. it has a very good restaurant and their breakfast buffet is good value for the cost. since the hotel doesn't have a/c, if you visit in august like we did, you will need to open the window at night, but that takes care of the air conditioning.

Great location and nice desk staff. bed and bath linens were clean, but the rooms themselves were tired and well worn. there were smoke stains on the ceiling and walls from the fireplace and carpets were not clean enough to want to walk on in bare feet. to be fair, it looks like some renovation has been done as the bathroom was newly outfitted and very nice. i was also not pleased to hear a price quote for a walk in couple that was much less than i paid (including currency conversion). not a bad place to stay in a pinch but not good value for the money.
