Funny oldstyle hotel ) good price, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and beds. it's just 3 min walking to railway station! so it's the most appropriate way to spend weekend in venice (30 min by train, train goes every 15 min). you sleep in a quiet place, you eat just a perfect meal in local trattorias (not turistic stuff in venice). and treviso is lovely place as well for night walking)

Great location, close to train station, bars and restaurants. hotel is a little tired and bathrooms (shower cubicle) very small. if you are here for a rugby weekend - then it is fine. hotel staff very friendly and helpful - we did not eat in hotel so cannot comment on food. lack of wi fi was disappointing

The hotel had obviously been very grand in its day but if it lacks anything from updating, that is more than covered by the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly staff, and its good location. treviso itself is a very interesting town with lots of historical places to visit and a good range of restaurants and bars. the station is close to the hotel and trains run frequently to venice for a very reasonable ticket price.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre opposite the railway station. although the hotel is clean and comfortable, the decor is rather shabby and in need of modernisation. good local restaurants within a short walking distance.

Me and my wife has a very pleasant stay at the continental in treviso. the room was kept very clean with the towels and pillow cases changed every day. the breakfast was quite simple but adequate. there is no kettle in the room. the hotel is only a short walking distance from the train station and bus terminus. treviso airport is about 12 minutes away by taxi. we spent 6 nights at the hotel. the bed was fairly comfortable if a little springy. the location is quite central with shopping and restaurants avilable fairly close.

Der einzige vorteil ist die nähe zum bahnhof. ansonsten ist das hotel veraltet, unsauber und zu laut. der service hat auch nicht besonders geglänzt. insgesamt würde ich das hotel nur jemandem, der in der notlage ist und woanderes nicht unterkommt, empfehlen.

L'hotel e' una catapecchia forse era un 4 stelle trent'anni fa per il momento 2 stelle forse sarebbero anche troppe! l'unica cosa da hotel 4 stelle erano le ciabatte! nel bagno il mio sguardo e' andato verso l'aria forzata che naturalmente non funzionava ed e' meglio non pensare a cosa ci fosse attaccatto!

Posizione ottima perche' centrale ed allo stesso tempo facilmente accessibile. reception, pulizia delle camere di buon livello, mentre gli arredi e l'atmosfera sono alquanto "datati". d'altro canto il prezzo era davvero ottimo e per una notte di passaggio e' stata una scelta "giusta".

Crepe sui muri, arredamento datato, colazione senza bevande calde, parcheggio non comodo e con prezzo variabile a seconda dell'auto. il prezzo di listino è troppo elevato, perchè l'albergo non è assolutamente un quattro stelle. certo se con le offerte on line si spende quanto abbiamo speso noi e si usa l'albergo solo come punto di appoggio può andare bene.

This hotel was very handy as it is less than 3 minutes to the railway station to take you into venice. also we got the bus from trevisco airport for 1 euro and it stops opposite the hotel. the only thing that i can pick up on is that the hotel did have a very strange smell about it some times as many other people have said but you could not smell this in your rooms. this is not a 4* hotel. but for the money it was ok.

Excellent location both for city and station. good room on the 5th floor with a nice view over surrounding buildings at the side of the hotel. any room on the same side lower than the 4th floor would not have a view. room was cleaned regularly and linen and towels replaced each day. adequate storage space. plenty of variety at breakfast, fruit, cereal, yogurts, rolls, brioches etc and enough for all. breakfast staff very friendly with italian guests but reluctant to approach other nationalities initially but this may be a language issue. reception staff reserved but when asked for information and assistance it was forthcoming. good storage for luggage if you have a late flight. found an excellent place to eat, the trattoria due mori on via bailo not far from the cathederal.

Tres bon hotel bien situè.service et propretèe impeccable.nous logions au 2ieme etage.j'ai regrette que les fenetres soit occultèes ...pas du vue...le petit dejeunes etait copieux mais pas variè...j'aurai aimè pouvoir gouter a un peu de fromage italien et non pas a des portions de fromage fondu mis dans de alu...et un peu de charcuterie italienne...donc petit dejeuner a revoir...mais personnel attentif et très soignè.

Hotel perfetto per una gita a venezia. l'hotel si trova a 10 minuti dall'aeroporto di treviso (linea 6 costo 1euro), ed è posizionato di fronte la stazione dove ogni 1/2 ora ci sono collegamenti con venezia. hotel pulito, vecchio stile, con 1^colazione ottima.

The hotel is charming and staff friendly. the single room was small but perfectly adequate for my needs. however the one problem i did have was with outside noise, traffic, voices and empting of bins. there seemed to be some kind of maintenance work and the sound of drilling going on in the early hours of the morning either in the hotel or very nearby.i was also distubed by the "plumbing" sounds from another room. the hotel is in a great central location and despite noise i would stay there again.

Very good hotel - i have stayed here twice. good value for money. very traditional ambiance. if parking outside the hotel be aware that you must feed the parking meter - it is free between 8pm & 8am - however, this means that you need to be out of bed early to feed the meter before 8am!

Der preis des hotels ist ueber hotelsclick.com unschlagbar (normalpreis eur 117,- pro nacht exkl. frühstück).für ein continentales frühstück und italienische verhältnisse war dies sehr reichhaltig. service beim frühstück, wie bei mama zu hause, zimmermädchen waren super hilfsbereit, an der rezeption gab es bis auf eine ausnahme, nur freundliche & hilfsbereite mitarbeiter. das ganze hotel ist zwar sehr veraltet (einrichtung) jedoch tiptop sauber. die lage, sehr zentral und dementsprechend hoher autolärmpegel. bus und bahn liegen direkt gegenüber des hotels. man erreicht den airport in 10 min. mit dem bus, venedig in ca. 35 min. mit dem zug. der gegenüberliegenede, öffentliche internetpoint hatte technische probleme und wir mussten online unseren rückflug bestätigen. die frage nach internetzugang an der hotelrezeption wurde verneint.

Considering the price, it was worth it. pretty basic and a bit old fashioned, even though room was rather spacious. breakfast was rather poor and it was very noisy outside at early morning. some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. i wanted to print something from my laptop and a guy at the reception did all his best to try and help me out. i would rate it more as a 3 star rather than a 4 star. however good value for money overall.

The hotel has a fantastic location. 2 minutes from railway station to visit velence or other italian town and 2 minutes from bus stop no. 6 to go to the airport. we have spent here two night, one as we arrived to italy and one we left. the first room is (on the 3rd floor:306)with mobil clima. it was good, but the other one(211) wasn't good because of window's clima what hidred the view. we could see only the the sky. we have reserved the better room by an other online company.

This is an excellent hotel in a prime location. it is only a ten mintue taxi ride away from treviso airport and its only a 2 minute walk to the local train station and taxi rank. a short 30 min train ride will take you into the heart of venice. the decor is of an old italian style but is still looks great depending on your taste! the hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Goede bereikbaarheid v.a. vliegveld: bus 6 naar treviso treinstation (e 1,00 p.p.). dan nog 200 m lopen. goede treinverbinding naar o.a. venetië en padua (resp.e 2.30 en e 3.40 enkele reis). met 25 minuten sta je in centrum venetië. ontbijt is waardeloos. hooguit 2 sterren. airco: niet standaard aan. hier doen ze erg moeilijk over. blijven klagen (in de 4e nacht bleek het dan toch te kunnen!) hotel ligt gunstig in centrum treviso, wat een verrassend leuk plaatsje is. de ligging van het hotel is de dikke +. dat is waarom ik het hotel aan anderen zal aanraden. hotel zelf is beslist geen 4 sterren waard. heeft ook geen extra faciliteiten. wel goed schoon (slaapkamers hebben parket, wat ideaal is voor mensen met allergie).

We booked this hotel for purely practical reasons: so we could stay on in venice late into the day and not have to bother much with direction finding because it was near the railway station, or taxi hunting the following morning to get us back to the airport. all these things worked out very conveniently, but we were delighted to find that it was a very charming hotel, full of mirrors, marble, comfortable old furnishings and lots of period features which made it very attractive and intriguing to our party. we almost expected gatsby to appear in the lobby!

Hotel continental has a tired appearance and is in need of significant refurbishment. the entrance foyer still has some appeal, but there are many signs that this hotel is past its best. our stay in hot weather was blighted by an inefficient and very noisy air-conditioning unit which was still practically useless even after a complaint from us and promised attention. our stay was for one night, but we would have moved on in any case had we booked a longer stay. the buffet breakfast was adequate, but lacked fresh fruit and any hot food.

Can't fault location. bus from airport drops you off virtually outside hotel reception. 2 mins walk to train station for 30 min ride to venice. excellent reception staff. we arrived 4 hours early for check in, so bloke behind reception allowed us to store luggage in cupboard while we explored treviso. he did the same when we checked out as our plane was not till 10pm. rooms were clean and had a mobile ac unit which worked ok. breakfast was ok, continental style. to sum up, perfect location, helpfull staff, reasonable price, can't complain.

I don't think it deserves 4*. perfect location and really clean. after a nice lobby me and my 8 y.o. niece found ourselves in a room back in the 60s (?) 70s(?) 80s(?) with funny setup, at least it made my niece happy, as she had never seen a dial-phone etc. there was a mobile air conditioner in the middle of the room, attached to a hole in the window with its huge pipe. it was noisy and made draft. as it was after 10pm and we wanted to sleep,i couldn't leave it on.the room was boiling, opening the window didn't help at all.we come from central europe and are not obsessed with air conditioning but this was a bit too much... before that we stayed in a no name 3* hotel on the seaside but it had all modern conveniences and the room was so pleasant when we got there! anyway, as we stayed only one night on the way to the treviso airport, it was survivable. especially for this price! the minibar is especially cheap, no big difference from supermarket prices.

Stayed 1 night in hotel continental. the location is great, close to the train station. the lobby was very grand looking and the staff were efficient. the bedroom and bathroom were clean. there is a free standing air con unit in the room with a vent pipe leading out the window and a pigeon kept coming in the vent pipe. as there is a hole in the window to let this pipe out it means that you hear all the street noise and the rest of the window was boarded up so we couldn't see outside. breakfast is not good. the only thing you could have was a bowl of cornflakes and a sweet crossiant with jam filling. there was no way of making tea. we also returned early from the town to have a drink in the hotel bar and we were told it wasn't open. bus stop to airport very conveniently located to the right of hotel.

Faded grandure, though i couldn't decide if the decor was 1930s or 50s. possibly a mixture. bathroom was candy striped - lovely! only some rooms have a shower. ours had a shower over the bath, but no curtain or screen. pretty good service. breakfast is purely continental, nothing cooked. room was small but ok. no view. reasonably quiet though it's central. it says on the advert that there's parking, but it's not free - it's in an underground paying car park. it was pretty efficient though, and cost us 13 euro overnight. easy access for ss13 to marco polo airport, and easy walk to treviso centre - few minutes to historical centre.

The hotel was central for the station also buses, and a pleasant walk along the river in both directions, also it was easy to get into town, but i have never been lost in a city so many times, signposts are desperately needed, but that is not the fault of the hotel.the overall impression is one of old world courtesy.

A charming hotel with character and plenty of original features, glass chandeliers, parque and marble floors,very clean, bedding and towels changed each day.this is not your modern day hotel, but be happy to be part of the italian way of life and culture! the hotel has no car-parking facilities but uses the services of a company who can provide safe secure parking at a cost of 120 euros per week. the hotel is centrally located so you do not need your car for shopping or eating in treviso. the hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful and a little bit of italian goes along way. breakfast is continental self service, and staff are happy to provide that coffee latte or capuccino upon request. if you need pastries and icecream there are many little bars nearby offering both. 100 metres to both train and bus station with inexpensive and comfortable travel to venice by double decker trains. (4.00 euros). enjoy your holiday

The hotel continental is a great place to stay in the lovely town of treviso. it is situated 2 minutes walk frol the station which gives access to venice via the train in 20 minutes ish. the hotel is exceptionally clean, well run and very central for the city. the only disappointment was the breakfast, very basic continental. the bar is not open on sundays (the day we arrived) which is a pity but there are plenty of small bars within walking distance. the staff are not overly friendly but the rooms are excellent and i would recommend this place for those who want to explore venice and indeed the lovely town of treviso.

We all went to treviso on a mission namely to see london irish rfc qualify for the 1/4 finals of the heineken cup for the 1st time. you couldn't ask for a more convienient base some 200 yds from treviso centrale station. it was like stepping back in time walking through the front door but in a good way,polished wooden floors chairs like your nan used to have 'for best'! and some chandeliers. all the staff were very friendly and efficient and check in was smooth. the lift was a little rickety up to the 3rd floor and still loads of wood in evidence. the room 302 was very clean the decor was a little dated but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom although a little squeezed was fine. the breakfast was limited but otherwise fine but if you are expecting a monumental feed then think again!! we would recommend the hotel although a 3 star rating would be more appropriate. aqll in all it is ok for a base but not a destination hotel

Clean, friendly and comfortable. fantastic location for exploring treviso itself and 2 mins from railway station (35 mins to venice) and bus stop for airport (no. 6). would definitely stay there again.

The receptionist had our booking immediately to hand;produced a plan of the town withoout asking; and noted the abundanc of spotless shining mirrors. as we were not staying for business purposes, we did not use the provided services

Nice priced hotel near the trainstation and only a few steps to the city centre. with a low priced minibar in the room and a good breakfast with large variety of choice. very recommendable!!

I will say that 4 stars is one or 2 to much, 20 years ago i am sure that it have been one of the best hotels in treviso, but to day it is like it sleeps, the staff and it inventar, it needs a make over. for the price it is ok but, not 4 stars.

The comtinental had a slight feeling of "faded charm" but in most respects was an excellent choice for us. we needed an inexpensive hotel for one night to allow access to an early flight from treviso airport. arriving by train or bus puts you about five minutes easy walk from the hotel. rooms are bright and clean, the trick with full wall mirrors makes them seem spacious. practical placement for two cases on purpose built in storage units. early breakfast was a bit basic. centre of town was only ten minutes stroll with access to the shops, bars, restaurants etc. taxi to airport is about 16 euro.

We enjoyed our stay at the continental very much. we walked everywhere. there are very nice restaurants close by. the train station is less than five minutes away. the town of treviso is gorgeous. we definitely would stay again.

The hotel was very local to the train station and the bus stop. very cheap and easy to get to venice and surrounding areas. only concern was that the hotel had a funny smell about it but in your rooms it was fine. breakfast could have been a little better, no cheese or meat was available on the two days that i visited but other than that a very good holiday was had by all.

Rooms quite comfortable, although not over large. the hotel desperately needs redecorating, the rooms are quite shabby in comparison to other hotels in italy that we have stayed in. the breakfast is adequate although the coffee was not very nice. the location is excellent if you do not wish to stay in venice and there are several good restaurants close by. the hotel advertises a restaurant, but unfortunately it does not have one, this does need to be removed from the web site.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for guests wanting to visit venice and flying into treviso airport and a fantastic price compared to staying in venice the bus stop for the airport is only 50 mtrs from the hotel and the train station is only 200mts with regular and cheap trains to venice ( approx 35 mins ) when we arived and were shown to our room we didnt like it because there was a blind on the windo that could not be raised and therefore there was not a lot of light in the room we went back down to reception and they could have not been more helpfull in finding us an other room in fact the gave the porter a selection of about 6 room keys and we were shown then all and invited to chose an alternative room we would go aagain and would book with hotelclick.com as the service was good and it was the best price that we saw on the web i have recomended this hotel and hotelclick.com to a number of friends

A very good option. a short distance from venice and so close to the railway station. the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. the rooms were a good size and the reception area and bar were very ice. the price was very good value and we would recommend it to our family and friends. veronica desmond

We stayed in this hotel either side of our trip to croatia as we were using flights from treviso. it is in need of some tlc as others have said in previous reviews. but for the price we thought we got a good deal. we found our rooms very clean and were impressed with the comfort of our beds and to get clean bedding each day, the showers were powerful and the towels were large and fluffy. we may have been lucky with the rooms we received as i am sure those on the street might have been noisey. the location to the railway station and the ease of getting to venice was excellent.

Windows covered halfway up with wooden boards, no way to look outside, no help whatsoever from the reception. small room, grey walls, no fresh paint in years. clean linen every day, which is nice, but really poor breakfast. train and bus station only a few steps away, frequent trains to venice.
