We were in london for a wedding which took place in upper a street so location was perfect. the room was excellent and breakfast was really good. location was also handy for angel tube station.

I styled here with my friend and my elderly mother for a theatre visit and a catch up with family members who live locally. we arrived just after 1pm and were checked in immediately. friendly reception staff, lovely room which seemed newly refurbished. we had cocktails in the bar in the evening and full buffet breakfast the next morning. all staff we met were pleasant and friendly - all in all a very good stay.

Exactly what we wanted. good location. comfortable, clean, and helpful friendly staff. hotel was being refurbished, but disruption /noise minimal and the bonus of a newly refirbished room.

The hotel was an excellent base for our 3 day stay in londonthe room was spacious and very well presented. breakfast was delicious with lots of variety staff were very helpful and allowed me early access into the room to accomodate family wedding arrangements, the area around the hotel is lively and there are shops and restaurants suitable for every taste . would certainly go back to this hotel.

Très bon hôtel à un prix très intéressant. l'hôtel se trouve à la station de métro "angel" qui est à une station de métro de la gare st pancras international. bien désservi aussi par de nombreuses lignes de bus. le petit déjeuner "anglais" est de qualité et très copieux. je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Would certainly stay again. breakfast good and helpful reception staff. drinks in bar ridiculously expensive, £28 for 4! room would have benefited from better lighting and more conveniently located electrical sockets.

We stayed for two nights b and b and were very happy with the hotel. staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable,very nice choice of food on breakfast menu which was served until 11am.

Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was clean, comfortable and of a good size. the continental breakfast offered a wide choice,we didn't have to queue for it and tea/coffee arrived promptly. the hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from an underground station and there are plenty of bus services too. upper street is a busy main road, however the hotel is set well back from the road and we found it very quiet. we would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

we already knew islington and hilton islington is perfectly situated just opposite angel which has easy acces to the city. the room was spacious and clean, bed very comfortable and the bathroom had both a great shower and a bath tub. nothing too fancy but well above average. service was excelllent. staff very nice, polite and attentive. breakfast was included in the room price and was good with losts of choices.

The hotel is near angel tube station. it is set back from the main road so the rooms are quiet. it is not the fanciest of hiltons - reception area, bar and restaurant decor quite uninspiring - but the service was excellent in every respect. the room was very comfortable, a good size and clean.

Very nice hotel convenient for the business design centre, where we had three days at the art exhibitian. the hotel was clean and well kept and the staff were most helpful and could not do enough for you. all were sociable and no long faces, which was a pleasant thing. certainly would go there again. breakfast was good and plenty of choices. evening meal menu could have been better choices. very quite hotel, standing back from the busy road.

We recently stayed here as we were visiting the exhibition centre next door. i am now certain that i will choose this hotel on my next trip to london. it was friendly, comfortable with quiet airconditioned rooms, good meals and well located. well done angel.

Stayed at this hotel and it is a perfect central location. not far from kings cross and all the restaurants. most importantly it's right next to (literally 2 metres walk) from the business design centre where i was exhibiting at. great friendly service too. only downside was the queue for breakfast. as i was exhibiting at a show i didn't want to spend a lot of time queuing for breakfast.

My stay was good - i had to leave my bag initially as the rooms weren't ready and the first room i was put into had a very high pitched noise which i couldn't trace - but when i advised reception they moved me very quickly. within 5 minutes. the air conditioning was not noisy - which it has been in the pastin london hotels i have stayed in and the bed wasn't too hard - another previous experience -well done hilton!

Good welcome at check in. friendly staff, spacious rooms which are well equiped. sadly, no wifi in the hotel. buffet breakfast was pretty good. lots of restaurants in the local area. it's not central london. if you want the 'sights' the tube station is about a 5 min walk.

Very satisfactory hotel for the price. the location was good for us as we were visiting our son who lives nearby. it may not suit someone wanting to be near the centre, althought transport links by bus or tube are very convenient. we did not eat in the hotel as we prefered to eat at the many good varied restaurants nearby.

We stayed (a couple) for one night on 10 february. very pleased with the accommodation and the checking in process (very quick). lovely room with good decor. we both had a very good breakfast - lots to choose from fruit, cheeses, breads, cakes and full english. again good service, orange juice offered as we sat down (and replenished). very central for getting about, near angel tube and bus stops into the centre of london. will book again (excellent rates).

Good price, excellent rooms and food. poor reception staff - i booked a taxi and the receptionist gave it away to someone else while i was waiting in the lobby. was woken several times during the night by noise, television, talking, doors banging, seems to be very poor sound insultation between rooms - could hear people using the bathroom. a pity in an otherwise v good hotel - next time i will take earplugs.

Great location for the islington area, right on upper street where it's all happening. the hotel has use of an underground carpark at a reduced weekend rate of 60p per hour, great if you are driving to london. there was a great choice of hot and cold breakfast.

Staff in this hotel were amazingly friendly and helpful. my husband and i booked this hotel for his 60th birthday on arrival (23.00 hrs ) we were welcomed with a smile and birthday bottle of wine plus a hand written birthday card. we were so touched by this act of kindness.however the rooms at this hotel leave a bit to be desired. our first night was spent next to the generator!! no sleep at all. reception staff were very apologetic and upgraded us to another room. this room smelt of urine, the toilet was leaking and the hand basin was cracked. general impression of hotel was that lovely staff were trying to compensate for a hotel that urgently needs upgrading.

Great hotel as you would expect but be warned if you are driving the car parking is very expensive if you arrive before eight and leave after ten am. in future i would choose to take the train and the angel tube station is only a short walk away.
