Sono tornata alla fine di marzo dopo alcuni anni all'hotel gabrielli e ho ritrovato tutto perfetto e incantevole in questo albergo in posizione stupenda sulla riva degli schiavoni:la meravigliosa terrazza con vista che spazia su tutto il bacino,la camera ampia e accogliente , la ricca colazione con prodotti di qualità,la professionalità e cortesia di tutto il personale

Apprezzamento per il mio soggiorno presso hotel gabrielli hotel storico, si vive la vera venezia, personale molto gentile, albergo eccellente, posizione ideale a due passi da piazza s. marco e, dell'arsenale e dei giardini della biennale. lo consiglio vivamente

Gabrielli hotel è situato sulla riva degli schiavoni di fronte al bacino di san marco. in quel tratto la riva è terminal di molti battelli, anche rumorosi. pure davanti all'ingresso dell'hotel sono collocati chioschi e banchetti-vendita che non contribuiscono certamente alla tranquillità. la hall è spaziosa ma modesta. le camere sono grandi e pulite. con dei grandi bagni finestrati. il servizio è ok. il prezzo pare assai fuori scala. viene fatta pagare evidentemente l'ottima posizione logistica, tra s. marco e l'arsenale.

4 bridge walking distance to st marks square and close to arsenale water taxi stop - there only a 15min ride to lido island and a great beach that kept my two teen boys happy. the terrace top is worth a visit in the evenings especially with a bottle of prosecco from the hotel bar - there were always people from around the world to chat to.

It was really a great stay. we got a beatiful room with a great view, nice breakfast, everything just fine. and all this for really comnpetitive price. another good stay with hotelsclick!

The location was the best part! just a few blocks from st. marks square, on the waterfront. the advertised rates were much higher than we paid, so i felt it was worth the money (i might have been disappointed if we'd payed more). our room overlooked a quiet back courtyard, which was fine, but because of the distance from the lobby and main building, we didn't have in-room wifi that was advertised. a minor inconvenience. the included breakfast was good, and hands down the best hotel coffee i've ever had!

Vecchio albergo con molto carattere. ci e piacuto moltissimo. abbiamo prenotato una camera doppia "normale" ed abbiamo ricevuto doppia con vista sul bacino san marco ! ritorneremo sicuramente !

Impressive old palace. nice personnel, good breakfast and good location. very convenient if going to the air port, the airport boat leaves next to the hotel.

Venice is a beautiful city brimming with art and architectural gems everywhere you go but - having just come back from oslo, the capital city of what is supposed to be one of the most expensive countries in europe - i found the prices ridiculously high. entrance fees, transport and food for 2 for a week could easily come to $1000. add to that the cost of the flight, the hotel and souvenirs....

The hotel is ideally situated, the rooms are perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. the staff are excellent, the only problem was the lift (elevator) that could be a little tempermental but i would have not hesitation in staying in this hotel again - excellent i nearly forgot to mention the roof terrace - fantastic!!
