Recommended for all

Our check in/out was quick and efficient. the room was spacious with ample clothing storage which was good for us as we stayed 8 nights and i hate living out of a suitcase. the bathroom was good with an excellent shower. breakfast was excellent with food to suit all tastes. a bonus that the hot food was actually hot. we used room service one evening and was pleased with the result. of course the roof top pool and bar area should not be missed with views in all directions of bkk. the location is good and all transport facilities are available within reasonable distance. we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. i would definitely stay again.

Our stay at furama silom

Furama is my favorite hotel in bangkok. it is centrally located close to the skytrain, shopping centers and markets. the rooms are large and the service is very good. the breakfast is very satisfying. the only negative is the comfort for guests departing late in the day. it is difficult to obtain late check-out at the hotel is often fully booked. when the temperature in bangkok is high and high humidity, it is desirable to be able to take a shower before departure after having used the last day in the heat. you can always use the pool after your check out, but there are no changing rooms and no showers. something to think about for hotel management!

Disappointed

The hotel looks promising on pics but when i got there it was being refurbished and the room i got was old and dark. i end up paying extra to upgrade the room for comfort. the staff were friendly and services were good though. the elevator was really hot like you get in a sauna. the pool and gym were closed under renovation. i hope once the refurbishment is done things will be better.
