Freedom hostel was basic but comfortable. the breakfast was standard euro but there appeared to be enough for everyone the location was excellent - just 20 minutes walk to the centre - even for the eldest of our group. many bars and restaurants close by the reception was variable depending on which member of staff was on duty, ranging from excellent (very helpful) to poor (indifferent)
