Fontainebleau miami beach

This hotel was wonderful. the weather wasn't perfect when we arrived and the valet at the departures areas was a bit short with us. but once we got to the arrivals area, they were a lot nicer. however, for the rest of the stay, the departures valet was wonderful. the pool is fabulous and the beach area is pristine. i enjoyed the hotel and it was a well maintained property. the rooms are very nice and the view from the chateau room overlooking the pool was magnificent. staff is very friendly and the food at the onsite restaurants are really good. however, it can be a bit expensive. also, the valet per day is expensive. but i needed a car, so i had to pay for it. overall, it was a great experience. the only other issue i had was one day by the pool it was hard to get wait staff, but other than that, the property was wonderful.

Habitación

La habitación de la reserva no correspondió a la entrada. el día de llegada nos dieron una habitación y al otro día nos cambiaron y ninguna de las dos correspondía a lo reservado. no tuvimos la habitación " ocean front" ni double room. además un brazalete se perdió en el cambio de habitación.

Additional charges

Hotel was lovely albeit the sofa bed in our room had not been set up which was disappointing given we had travelled from the uk and had to wait a while for a grumpy housekeeping man to help. also, we did not have any advance warning thatcher would be charged an additional $21.75 per night by way of 'hotel fee'!!! the clerk who checked us in rushed quickly through the list of rules if which this was one. room was nice, lovely view and good facilities

Amazing and pleasant stay

Super nice hotel, we had a great time at fb. the piña colada is a must while chilling at the pools! we stayed for 2 nights then went to delano and really regretted it.

Hotel fontainebleau - miami beach

Comme toujours, cet hôtel est incroyable par sa décoration, ses espaces (malgré le monde qui y séjourne), ses services, ses piscines et sa plage privée. très propre, cher malgré tout au niveau de la restauration proposée sur place (pour le petit déjeuner, privilégier le starbucks qui se trouve à l'eden rock à côté).

Fontainebleau

El hotel permite que muchos jóvenes consuman mucho alcohol en el área de las piscina y eso me molesta , mucho trago y por eso no dejo que mis hijos paseen solos por el hotel y en las noches la discoteca peor hace años que voy a este hotel por su suite con cocina y ayer por primera vez separe en otro hotel y espero no tener ningún problema estoy viajando en setiembre a conocer este hotel saludos

Excellent stay - highly recommend

Great hotel and resort. friendly and helpful staff. slightly away from the hustle and bustle / main strip, but very short taxi ride away and away from all the construction work. lovely pool area with numerous pools and jacuzzis. the hotel certainly has a wow factor.

Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, with great facilities and a super location. our room was a good size with views of the sea. pool area is lovely, and service from staff around the hotel was always helpful and friendly. it is expensive to buy food or drink at the hotel bar and restaurants, but if you're staying here, you're probably not on a tight budget. all in all, very good indeed.

El servicio que me brindó el hotel fue asqueroso!! no puedo creer que este hotel sea tan nombrado si realmente no vale lo que ofrecen. primero que todo me dieron una pieza con la ducha mala sin poder bañarnos reclame bajo el conducto regular y no me la arreglaron luego de insistir en una estadía.de 9 días la arreglaron al 6 día.. siendo que nuevamente se echo a perder. no teníamos donde dejar los shampoo balsamos etc... faltaba esa pieza en la ducha. cuando pedimos toallas se demoraron 2 horas en traerles. dos enchufes de la.pieza estaban sueltos lo que hizo que se nos quemara una plancha y ondulador . luego de todas estas molestias insisti en reclamar y vino un manager césar quien confirmó todo esto !! y se demoró 2 días más en dar una respuesta. al no responder me derivaron a un manager que creo que hace muy mal su trabajo , oliver está persona nos trató de hechar ofreciendonos otro hotel, no nos dejó hablar con césar quien había visto todo, nos hecho del lobby mintiendonos por verguenza a que nos alteraramos en el lobby. sí nos alteramos fue pporque su respuesta fue elijan ya nada que hacer un descuento para otros días si es que se quieren quedar y sólo una recompensa de docientos dólares en gastos eso es normal??? creen que ea lo justo para el valor del hotel??? es realmente impresionante todo lo que nos ocurrió y lamentable que mi informacion no se la hayan reflejado al señor golphar ...

Disapointed

Old rooms, dirty carpet in room (too bad for nose allergy), old towels, old mattress, not even complimentary water in room, no frigobar to use unless you rent...... very expensive parking (38 usd per day), mandatory internet service and pool are access charges (20 usd per day)....... in general, this hotel does not worth what they charge you...... there are many options in miami much better than this.`

Watch out for your $$$$

If you want to squander money away, this is the hotel for you! you don't pay cheap for the rates and everything is excluded from that. there is a hotel fee, of $20 /day for internet, beach towels and chairs that is not included in the rate but it's not optional. the hotel is far away from everything, so you end up having to take a cab or having all the meals in the local restaurants / shops where a bottle of water is u$10, orange juice is u$8 and a kids meal don't go for less than $15. oh, and if you decide to go to the beach, the umbrella is $25 (see above the hotel fee does include towels and chairs but not umbrellas!). another amazing thing is the temperature inside the hotel: freezing. even though you have to cross the lobby in very summer clothes to go to pool and beach or outside, the inside of the hotel could not be above 65f. i got sick and heard of a lot of people complaining. other than that, the hotel is nice, the rooms are big and the staff is polite.

Great stay at the fontainebleau

Beautiful hotel, very good but expensive restaurants. all the facilities were first class, staff were very accommodating and gracious. this is a big resort and requires a fair amount of walking to get around. definitely not a place to escape, the hotel is very much a "scene". noisy, loud and happening, but that is what south beach is about, and while the location is not exactly south beach, it's close enough.

Weekend at fountainbleu miami beach

We booked a standard room and when we arrived we were upgraded to one of the new 1 bedroom suites in the new tower for no reason. the hotel is beautiful and clean. the pool and workout facilities were very nice. the only complaint were prices on food, drink, etc. we ordered 2 glasses of wine to our room and it was $45, but i guess that is what you get in miami beach .

Klassiker in miami beach

Stilvolles hotel in guter lage mit gemütlicher poollandschaft und direkten zugang zum meer. die erwartungen wurden übertroffen. trotz der hohen zimmeranzahl wird eine angenehme atmosphäre geschaffen. service am pool, nettes personal, sauberkeit der anlage und nicht zuletzt das vorhandene und in der resort fee enthaltene wifi waren sehr angenehm. dennoch gibt es einen makel: wir hatten ein balkonzimmer im versailles tower gebucht. sämtliche dieser balkone mit blick auf den bekannten "rundbau" sind oberhalb einiger riesiger lüftungen mit einigen metern durchmesser, die 24 stunden pro tag in betrieb sind und reichlich krach machen. der balkon ist theoretisch nur mit ohrenschützern zu genießen.
