The hotel is good value for money in egypt. just be careful of the hotel staff. i paid for a double bed room. when the reception notice, i had arrived alone, they alloted me a dingy single bed room. i had to insist on a double bed room. they took offense and made me wait 2 hours to give me the room. room service is horrible and takes too too long. when i asked the reception for any information, they did not give the correct reply. instead they start telling you to use hotel/receptionist arranged taxis/tours. the normal taxi to rameses station costs just 10le. i was loaded onto the hotel taxi and charged 50le for this trip!! waiting time for lift is a little long in the mornings.
