You put in a request for a twin room when we clearly marked we needed a double. the fact this room type wasn't available was not made aware to us when booking so we paid extra for a room we didn't use.

Reception was really nice but corridors on the levels and the room themselves were very run down and cheap... what you expect from a hostel but paper thin walls so you can't really have a late night conversation without everyone hearing you

We spend 2 nights in this place and never have i seen so bad rooms, facilities, service etc. the room looked horrible. the lights did not work and in the middle of the night all the electricity disappeared. they gave us wrong information about parking, towels, breakfast etc. i would never recommend this place to anybody else.

Located right next to the river and about 10 minutes walk from the central train station this hostel is a great place to stay if you need a bed for a few days. basic amenities provided and a comfortable bed. didn't try the breakfast though.

A friend and i stayed in a twin (bunk beds) room for two nights last weekend. the accommodation was clean, warm and basic - but had everything we needed - except maybe a kettle! not to worry though as there's an equipped kitchen downstairs which is available until 10pm. the hostel is very handy with argyll street and central rail station. we highly recommend the hostel for the above and also because it seems to attract a very cosmopolitan, friendly type of guest - staff were lovely too. had a great time :)

Für eine städtereise zwei nächte lang hier unterzukommen ist echt in ordnung. die sauberkeit war akzeptabel, die einrichtung auch, die matratze fürchterlich und das frühstück -im vergleich mit anderen hostels- kaum erwähnenswert. dennoch entschädigt die lage für einiges und der empfang war sehr nett.
