Way overpriced!

This hotel is old and not in a good way. the elevator is ancient and makes so much noise going up. the rooms are small and the layout is old school with the shower and toilet in one room and the sink in another room. it has a tiny closet, a tv and small dresser, a safe, a desk and chair and a small iron and board. the air in the room is horrible because the fan makes so much noise you cannot stand having it on. there is a small coffee pot with the tiniest cups ever. the parking is not secure unless you park across the street in the convention center parking. the hotel gives you a discount and you pay them and get a card key to pass out but you have to return it to the hotel when you are finished. the hotel charges $15 for this but the book in the room lists the price as $12. the beds were really hard and the pillows were harder. this was the last stop of our road trip staying at various kinds of hotels up and down the state and the price for this kind of room should have been half of what it was. we were told there is a continental breakfast from 7-9 but we wouldn't have participated anyway because we wanted to get out of the hotel. ear plugs and pillows over our heads did not help the fan noise from the adjacent rooms either. if you don't mind noise and a hard bed, then this is a good place for you.
