Good wireless internet, friendly staff, good rooms

Clean room, comfortable bed and wifi in room and lobby. it's located in middle of matanzas. okay, there is traffic in front of the hotel, but for us it was not bothersome. taxi to the airport cost about 20-25 cuc. i liked their food, also lunch is pretty good priced (about 2-5 cuc). they sell wifi cards, even for 5 hours. only place in cuba where i could get 5 hour access cards without hassle. visited the lolo galeria-taller in the city, was worth a visit. overall a good city to start to explore cuba, not much tourism. very helpful staff! bar is opened till 23.00. absolute value for money.

The real cuba, wireless internet in room, good food!

Excellent hotel if you want to stay away from the massive all-inclusive tourism in varadero and discover the real cuba. best experience in cuba. the hotel is just a 20 minutes drive from varadero airport, located right on the main square in matanzas. supermarket with cold beers is about 5 minutes walk. food included in the half-board menu taste great! great staff! there is a etecsa wireless internet hotspot in the hotel, so in the lobby and in rooms in the front of the hotel you can connect with wireless internet from within the room. they sell wifi access cards in the hotel for 2 hours (4 cuc) and 5 hours (10 cuc) and always had plenty of cards at the reception desk. i would recommend to buy some more cards, as they can be used at any etecsa hotspot throughout the country.

Zimmer alt, essen ok, lage top

Alte, heruntergekommene, muffige zimmer. standardzimmer ohne fenster (dafür leiser). sauberkeit unterdurchschnittlich. abendessen qualitativ ok, aber jeden abend dasselbe. frühstück gut. lage sehr gut. casas particulares sind im vergleich billiger, neuer, und sauberer.
