Hotel elysee, prague
The hotel entrance is in a shopping mall, which i was aware of before booking, put don't let this put you off. entrance to the hotel is by keycard, making it a secure base. a little strange set-up for a hotel as once booked in you do not really see anyone. we picked it as we were a mother and daughter on their own and felt it would be secure and in a central posistion. it lived up to all these requirements. our room was furnished well and was clean with very comfy beds. the outlook was not good, it was a derilect building site, but we didn't go to prague to spend time in our room. the continental breakfast was in a cafe in the mall and was self-service. the breadbuns, cereal, meat etc were of a resonable quality and it was one of the better continental breakfasts i have experienced. wencelas square was very commercialised and not the best part of prague but everywhere was in walking distance.
