Our stay here was just what we thought it would be. quiet and relaxing. the hotel itself could use some updating, rooms were nice and spacious, but outdated. the staff was very helpful to us (we had heard stories about them but had no problems at all). very convenient to graceland so we didn't have to move our car the entire stay. we would come back with no problem at all.

Overall this was a good hotel if you just wanted gracelands but it was a good 20 min ride (free shuttle) into town, buses running every hour till 5.30pm after which you paid. reception staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. the barman was obviously short staffed taking food orders and serving drinks and was neither friendly, polite or helpful. however, the adjoining suites my sister and i had were excellent, and spotlessly clean. breakfast was adequate but not very exciting. the housekeeping, shop and security staff were pleasant (as was the shuttle bus driver) ? if you just wanted gracelands it was the perfect location, if you wanted to see more of memphis would recommend staying downtown. 3 days here was more than enough.
