Complete disaster

Arrived to find we had been booked into a smoking room with no alternative. the area was suspect and the receptionist ,who was behind a security screen, did her best to be as unhelpful as possible. no, there was no alternative. no, she couldn't raise the manager. no, she did not have any suggestions of what we could do or where else we could go. we googled on our own computer an alternative which was expensive at 5pm on the day and cancelled the room which was booked for 2 nights. no, we could not have any money back and no she would not contact the booking company. really it's difficult to see how it could of been worse.
