Good location close to metro station. staff friendly and helpful at all times. good selection at the buffet breakfast to help set you up for the day. small selection of reasonable cafes and restaurants at the end of the street. generally a charming and relaxing place to stay.

A clean hotel with a good clean kitchen/breakfast area in the cellar and new decoration in rooms and black out curtains. a quiet street though some early morning traffic. very close to metro and cafes, restaurants and portrait artists of monmartre. we walked up to the sacre coeur every night and found a restaurant for the evening and admired the views and sunset.

We had a special offer for four nights in july 09. people were very friendly and helpful. the rooms were comfortably and clean. we loved the special athmosphere of this french building with it's small yard garden and the breakfast room that looked like a wine cellar. rue clauzel is quiet but next corner you can find everything you need at the rue des martyrs. if we come back to paris we'll stay at this hotel!

This hotel is a gem, friendly, warm and in a wonderful location...the reception helped with our requests. the breakfast room is sweet, like a little underground wine cellar....rooms are clean, tidy and quiet. hotel is easy to walk from gard du nord eurostar...and it's within walking to all the places one would love to visit...did not take the metro at all, even though it was close by. walk your way around the area, you will not regret it...there are many side roads with beautiful shops, cafes etc.

Hotel confortevole in posizione tranquilla e comoda dal punto di vista logistico in quanto situato vicino ad un fermata metrò per cui per chi come noi in vacanza senza mezzo di trasporto autonomo è stata una comodità il servizio buono lo consiglio alle famiglie ma anche a giovani che vogliono staccare un po'dal solito tram tram delle discoteche

3 star plus hotel listed in exclusive hotels guide. near to monmartre (10 minute walk). very friendly and helpful staff and a great buffet (eat/drink all you like) continental breakfast. comfortable rooms with aircon. 5 mins (or less) from nearest metro (st georges). stayed there with family and enjoyed it.

A pleasant small hotel between montmartre and the opera district. first impressions are good as you enter into a small but smart and airy reception area, where staff are welcoming and friendly. we booked two rooms - one was spacious and equipped with a small kitchenette, while the other was a little cramped but clean and functional. on the other hand, the larger room was above the road so suffered occasional traffic noise, while the smaller room overlooked the courtyard garden and was more peaceful. breakfast is served up in a delightful vaulted basement with exposed stone walls, and is a help-yourself affair with a good choice of cereals, fruit, juice, yoghurts, cheese, bread and pastries. the location is convenient for montmartre and the theatre district - we visited paris for a performance of cabaret at the folies bergere, which was within easy walking distance. on the square at the end of the road, there's a clutch of restaurants and cafés -we liked the no stress café which served excellent tapas for lunch, together with a good range of salads and specials chalked up on a black board. car parking is available almost directly opposite the hotel (30€ for 24 hours), though be warned the car-park is very small with tight spaces and very steep ramps - not for the faint-hearted! overall, the hotel served our purpose well and is recommendable for its location (families note it is right by the red light district so may not be suitable for those with children) and quality/price ratio. we had a good rate from hotels click (120€ per room per night including breakfast) but i wouldn't rate the hotel's rack rate as good value.
