Review hotel de l'horloge. dec. 2014

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was very comfortable for our 2 night stay. location was excellent just off the main square at the top of the main street and just near the palais des papes and the old bridge.

Tutto una scena!!!

Abbiamo soggiornato in quest'albergo ma non vale proprio il prezzo che abbiamo pagato. un bagno vetusto dove neppure la doccia funzionava. per fortuna siamo stati una sola notte.

Hotel de l horloge avignon

The place de l'horloge is located right in the centre of this beautiful walled city.the hotel adjoins the place de l horloge and is well placed for all the major attractions - cultural,gastronomic, and shopping. a number of options existed re the provision of hotel rooms,relating to size and outlook.always ask for an ulternative if unhappy. staff in all respects were friendly and obliging, and spoke english.our smattering of french was appreciated! good breakfast facilities , but main meals of the day purchased in the meriad of restaurant/bars. check the back streets for best value and variety. we would totally recommend this hotel, and stay again.

Aprile in provenza

L'albergo si trova in posizione centralissima, piazza horloge a due passi dal palazzo dei papi e al ponte di benezet.a poche centinaia di metri c'e' un comodo parcheggio a piu' piani dove lasciare la macchina che diventa difficile parcheggiare in quanto in centro le vie sono piccole e parcheggiare diventa difficoltoso. il personale e' veramente disponibilissimo, parla francese e inglese, camera un po' piccola ma accogliente e pulita.lo consiglio per la visita alla citta, e'in un punto centrale e si affaccia sulla piazza piena di vita e di bistro dove si puo' mangiare o bere qualcosa. se dovessi tornare e' qui che prenoterei.

Hotel accueillant, chambre agréable, emplacement royal.

L'atout de l'hôtel est sa position très centrale, sur la place de l'horloge, la place sympathique d'avignon : café et restaurants à profusion. l'hôtel est très sympathique, l'accueil est courtois. le 1er étage est en travaux mais l'ascenseur nous a mené sans encombres au 4ème étage où se trouve notre chambre : relativement spacieuse, avec un lit double de grande largeur,assez confortable. la décoration est raffinée, ambiance provençale dans les tons neutres. la salle de bain est fonctionnelle, ambiance provence aussi. note chambre donnait sur la rue félicien david, donc au calme, mais un peu sombre. je précise que nous voyagions hors saison donc j'imagine qu'en été, les chambres sur la place doivent être assez bruyantes ! enfin, gràce à hotelclick, j'ai bénéficié d'un prix vraiment attractif (20% de remise). dernier commentaire sur avignon, ville agréable autour du palais des papes mais qui pourrait mieux soigner son centre ville (tags, zonards, etc).
