Wonderful stay at the gellert

This was my 3rd time at the gellert. it was marvellous - the spa is always a decadent treat, the breakfast is set for a multitude of kings, we ordered yummy food and wine from the downstairs bars and we stayed in the nixon room overlooking the danube. the staff are very professional; so helpful and sweet. the decor of the gellert is something i have long admired - the slightly 'tired' (or well-loved) soviet kitch style tells a million stories, and is quite 80s, but it is in stark contrast with the the neo-baroque spa which it is famed for. i will always pay the gellert a visit when i am in budapest.

Albergo con fascino old style

Un albergo maestoso con il fascino dei bei tempi passati. ottimamente ubicato. ben curato e mantenuto nelle parte comuni. meraviglioso l'accesso dirette alle terme gellert. personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Le terme valgono il soggiorno

La facciata è spettacolare, dentro terme bellissime decorate splendidamente; personale molto gentile, colazione varia e di qualità; le camere (purtroppo) sono ormai da rinnovare.

Closeness to bathing facilities is great. breakfast could be better.

Ok hotel very close to city center. first visit to hot spring bath is included in the price, after this 50% discount. there should have been more fresh fruits at the breakfast and why is the bread not nicer considering that cheap bread could be bought at a nice price at a bakery close by. there are a restaurant with music at the hotel. very nice. if you do not want to pay for the music you can go to te closest restaurant where the music, 7 nights a week is free. big rooms, nice personell.

Hôtel bien situé

La situation près du danube et des transports en commun sont un plus. notre chambre au mobilier assez antique était située face au fleuve avec un petit balcon très agréable. le seul problème est le bruit de la circulation tard le soir et les trams dès 5h du matin. insonorisation inexistante. le personnel est très serviable. le petit déjeuner varié et copieux. l'accès aux thermes était compris dans le prix de notre chambre. nous en avons profité chaque jour, piscine à 36°, piscine à vagues, sauna... et de nombreux espaces avec chaises longues et parasols. accès direct aux thermes depuis la chambre et peignoir de bain fourni. un séjour très agréable à recommander

Great place to be

Old style hotel... but nice. great to have the spa included in the hotel weak point : carpet cleaning was at the limit that could accepted.

Riposante budapest

Personale cordiale, efficiente, colazione assolutamente fantastica, la stanza affacciata sul danubio pulita e rinnovata. terme fantastiche da evitare però nel fine settimana. posizione ottima per raggiungere qualunque posto da visitare

Angenehme tage

Fühle mich nach 3 tagen in den thermalanlagen 10 jahre jünger. die anwendungen waren auch recht zufriedenstellend, vorallem die kosmetik. nur die für 30 min. bezahlte massage dauerte nur 20 min. zufuß kann man leicht in die innenstadt und durch die trambahn-haltestelle vor der tür ist alles schnell zu erreichen. sehr imposantes gebäude mit großer, schöner lobby und breiten fluren und individuellem charme. ich werde sicher wiederkommen.

Hotel gallert budapest

E' un hotel fanè, per questo abbastanza fascinoso.posizione ottima, personale che...insomma, poco orientato al turista ed impreciso. colazione al mattino abbondante ma noiosa. spesso sovraffollata.

Belissima struttura un po' trascurata

Le stanze sono ampie, ma andrebbero rinnovate, soprattutto il bagno che ètroppo datato. la prima colazione è eccellemte e le terme sottostanti, cui si accede gratuitamente dall'hotel, sono straordinarie.
