The crowne plaza is on the edge of the canberra cbd and within easy walking distance to one of the largest shopping malls in canberra. the location is quiet and central to most tourist attractions. the staff are all friendly and very helpful with any inquiries you may have. close to a large range of restaurants, clubs and the canberra casino (more like a games room though). our only complaint are the prices at the hotel restaurants. $28 for a continental breakfast (fruit, cereal, toast & coffee) or $35 for a full buffet with everything you could possibly want but i doubt if anyone could eat that much food for breakfast. we found a few local clubs & restaurants that offer similar food for less than half the price. we have stayed at the crowne plaza several times and intend to go back as the accommodation is excellent.
