The hotel is situated in a lovely area adjacent to the lagan forest park. i was conducting business throghout the day at the hotel so my wife had a free day to explore. she had a great time walking alonside the river and old navigation and visiting the lock keepers cottage; she even saw a kingfisher. the hotel is very comfortable and the food is good although the quantities are way too big.

This is the second stay in the ramada and i have to say i would book it again. staff were grand though service in the bar a bit slow

We found the hotel was not in the best location. the staff were not very friendly and dont expect a hot drink with your breakfast. also we were told breakfast was until 10:30 but this is only on weekends. if you urn up late then dont expect a warm service or even a breakfast. the room was only cleaned at our request at 4pm in the afternoon. and not well - there were cobwebs in the corners of the room and we did not get clean sheets. there were very few lights in the room and poor natural light so the room was very dim.

Hotel staff never smile, we felt like bothering them. internet access is simply ridiculous, too expensive! we went to the restaurant for dinner and it was rented for other people, dinner only after 9pm!! well i expected to have a nice time with my wife on her birthday, we had to go to an other place. they are bad in giving you information and clear directions about the hotel facilities. have other things to say but will leave it.
