Good but could be excellent

Nice clean hotel with views of the vatican dome. good points: excellent friendly staff that were always willing to help in every way. good sized room with comfortable beds courtesy bus to within 300m of the vatican - hourly until 2100hrs. close to a supermarket and rail station. free parking on road outside hotel. great breakfast. bad points: rooms could do with a vacuum every day as some days were missed out. air con could be more powerful. why on earth does everyone have to pay for tv at 20euros per day! would it be too much to ask to be able purchase a set amount of hours viewing i.e 24hrs and you watch it when you want? we were only in the room for the late evening and there is only so much of cnn europe (for europe read usa) and bbc world (for world read usa) one can take. overall: great staff and a good hotel with only minor irritations. thanks for a nice holiday.
