Great location but on arrival no help was given getting suitcases up the stairs, the concierge was chewing gum and the receptionist was sneezing all over us!!! the roof top bar was nice but the downstairs bar was cold and uninviting. breakfast was in the old courthouse and felt like you were eating in a public lavatory and there was limited choice

This hotel is in an ideal location, located just off oxford street, opposite carnaby street and walking distance to piccadilly circus and trafalgar square. we have stayed at this hotel on several occasions on trips to london. hotel has always been of excellent quality. on this occasion, it was disappointing that no-one was at the reception desk to meet us and the concierge had to call someone. we were also given a room that was not yet made up. however apart from these hiccups, it is hard to beat this location and the hotel has everything you need for a holiday.

Was not happy to be asked for a £50 deposit to be held during our stay, we were not advised of this when we booked!! the lady on reception on our arrival was very stuck up and not at all helpful. the deposit we paid was not returned to our account until three days after our stay had ended!

The chocolate chip cookie handed to us upon check-in was a good welcome. the hotel is ideally located near oxford circus, across from liberty and carnaby street and within a short walking distance of soho, piccadilly circus and many other attractions. the breakfast was tasty with attentive service. many plus points - the only minus point is that the hand wash basin in the bathroom was cracked. they should replace it.

The location is great and the concierge is fantastic in helping on the luggages and temporary car parking while waiting for the luggage. room is good. we will stay here again in future.

Great hotel. fab location, so easy to get to from kings cross. second time i have stayed here which is testiment itself to how good the hotel is. staff are fantastic. when we had a problem with the air con not working properly, they supplied us with portable oil filled radiators to keep the room nice and warm. its best kept secret is the pool. everytime we went down for a swim we were the only two people there.

Stayed in this hotel as we wanted to be near soho and it did`nt disappoint. as an added bonus it was also alot nearer the shops than expected with liberty`s bieng opposite the hotel! a nice big modern hotel with all the things you could need. the only slight disappointment was the second days breakfast was slightly cold. still recommended though.

I was very pleased with the choice of hotel, it was very central and had some interesting features from the court which made it different from the regular chain hotels.

Excellent hotel in brilliant location. very comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean. did not eat in silk but the carnaby brasserie food was delicious. have to say the constant 'trendy' music at breakfast and in brasserie was too loud and unnecessary, bar in evening ok but not at 7.00am

A fantastic location, cannot be faulted. within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants, soho. spacious rooms with large flat screen tv, internet, minibar, hairdryer, 2 wardrobes ...... everything we could have wished for! staff really friendly, offering excellent service. our only complaint was being woken at 7am on a sunday morning by building work right outside our 1st floor window but don't think this was any fault of the hotel. all in all, a really enjoyable stay, highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is in an excellent location for all amenities in london. the staff are wonderful , very friendly and nothing is too much bother for them. the decor is superb and the rooms are some of the best i have ever stayed in. the food in the restaurant was first class and the cjoice at breakfast was unbelievable
