Das hotel ist zentral gelegen . bus,taxi,restaurants in unmittelbarer nähe. die zimmer sind geräumig ,nur das mobilar gehört etwas aufgefrischt. frühstück ok und angemessen. personal freundlich und bemüht (unserem extrawunsch ,zwei zimmer nebeneinander wurde entsprochen.

Große zimmer, (unseres war hinten raus und sehr still! fast ungewöhnlich für die stadt). die damen beim frühstück waren immer flink und bemüht und war auch alles da. das hotel hat zwar "nur" 3 sterne, aber es gibt schlechtere 4 sterne hotels! zu dem zeitpunkt war dies die beste alternative und ich würde das hotel wieder in die auswahl mit einbeziehen.

Zimmer sauber, ausstattung ok. tv sehr klein. bad-einrichtung mind. 20 jahre alt, fliesen verkalkt, schlauch vom duschkopf halb zerissen, duschkopf verkalkt, amaturen altmodisch. frühstück sehr einfach und auf niedrigstem niveau, dafür schöner frühstücksraum mit klasse-aussicht und aussen-terasse.

Sono ritornato per la quarta volta in questo hotel. la posizione è ottima, le stanze sono pulite e ben tenute. molte sono spaziose. la colazione (di tipo nordico e quindi con poca scelta di dolci) è davvero ricca. quasi tutto il personale è gentile.

Avevo già alloggiato in questo hotel nel 2009, ma al tempo aveva un altro nome ed era sotto un'altra gestione. l'hotel ha mantenuto il suo standard davvero buono. il rapporto qualità/prezzo è vantaggioso. wi-fi gratuito (chiedere password in reception); camere curate e pulite (ogni stanza ha il nome di un'opera lirica) con letti comodi, biancheria perfetta e bagno davvero funzionale e pulito; colazione al sesto piano con vetrate a vista sul kurfurstendamm; la colazione ha buffet è davvero abbondante e come sempre nelle città nordiche (dall'austria in su) tende maggiormente al "salato" che al "dolce: è inutile aspettarsi caffè e cornetto, ma comunque la scelta è ampia, varia e soddisfacente. vari tipi di pane, marmellate, affettati, verdure, yougurt, muesli e cereali, spremute, frutta, formaggi e persino frittate, uova sode, salsicce. la posizione dell'hotel è strategica: si affaccia sul viale principale (eppure l'interno è silenzioso); ha una fermata servita da almeno 5 linee di bus giusto di fronte; a 350m c'è una fermata della metro. l'hotel ha molte camere attrezzate per diversamente abili: bagni con maniglioni e spazi più larghi; un'ascensore più largo. staff alla reception decisamente cortese (forse più freddo il personale notturno) e ci hanno aiutato col wi-fi e con qualche indicazione.

Wir kennen das hotel noch als agon opera seit 2002 von damals jährlichen besuchen bis 2008. unter neuer führung ist es immer noch eine gute wahl. die lage des opera ist sehr gut, wie auch das preis-leistungs-verhältnis und die verkehrsanbindung. es gibt (noch immer) keinen kühlschrank im zimmer; w-lan ist aktuell (nur) bis zur 2. etage verfügbar. der frühstücks-raum in der 6. etage ist ein morgendliches highlight. einzig und allein negativ ist das jetzige frühstücks-angebots. die wurst und der käse sind wenig ansprechend, da sie aus einer massenabpackung stammen mit entsprechendem geschmack. schade

Agon opera is very well located near the kurfuerstendamm in a pleasant residential neighbourhood consisting of apartment houses from the "gruenderzeit". the rooms are rather small, but well equiped. the breakfastroom ioffers a formidable view of the neighbourdhood. public transportaion is immediately present in front of the hotel.

Berlino è una metropoli, molto articolata e distribuita su un vasto territorio. ha strade importanti che la rendono facile da capire e attraverso le quali ci si orienta facilmante. grandi spazi verdi che invitano a belle passeggiate. insomma una città vivibile, godibile per i suoi quartieri a tema: l'isola dei musei, il centro dello shopping, le gite in battello, il quartiere dei ristoranti tipici, ecc.. una grande varietà di proposte da soddisfere tutti.

I have stayed at the agon-opera,180 kurfurstendamm about 4 times, always great; but this time it was cold weather and the radiators needed bleed,it was easter so receptionist could only move me to another room ,the radiators in this room were better but still needed bleed.the staff were very helpful in supplying extra blankets and waived the late checkout fee of 30 euro.nevertheless i cannot speak too highly of this hotel and i am planning to book another stay in september,the breakfast is very good with a great view overlooking kurfurstendamm.

Our family of 7 met in berlin to celebrate christmas together as they could not all be back home at the same time over the holiday period. this was my present to them. the party was all adult and staying at the agon opera certainly added greatly to the trip. the location was ideal, the christmas lights on the avenue were fantastic and the markets were within walking distance or accessible by bus from right outside the front door of the hotel or a nearby underground. the hotel itself was fairly basic but very clean and the breakfast was superb and available in a dining room which overlooked the entire avenue. the only thing i did miss was a kettle for tea or coffee in the room. otherwise, this hotel had everything, including excellent value for money. magnificent gourmet restaurants, designer shops and high street shops a few yards from the hotel. also banks across the avenue. the tourist buses could be accessed a few hundred yards from the hotel. we would all stay there again and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who uses an hotel merely as a comfortable base for a holiday.

This hotel has a great location, even if you don't like to shop. the bus stop is across from the hotel from where you can take a bus to all the sites of interest, the u-ban is just down the street. there are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area which open 24hrs if, like us, you need to stay up all night to go straight to the airport for 4am. i would definately stay here again.

A well positioned hotel near transport. clean and good view with a good breakfast selection. we reserved a triple share room for 3 adults and the one bed was an army style fold out cot. we discarded the cot as it was not flat and the mattress was more comfortable on the floor. the room was big enough to have added another bed. coffee making facilities and perhaps a fridge would have been nice.

A basic hotel, but everything worked. room was warm, breakfast was substantial, location is good (taxi rank outside, bus stops near front door, u-bahn 4 mins walk) the k'damm is the city centre. very pleased with the value for money.
