We had a wonderful stay at clontarf castle in october 2014. very impressive building with tastful interieur. staff was very friendly too. we couldn't have asked for anything missing. we attended a wedding, that went on all day and night and throughout all this time we felt extremetry comfortable and looked after.

This hotel was ideally placed for our ny's break. close to the airport for a quick taxi ride, approx 15 mins away and walking distance of two bus stops for the centre of dublin on the 130 bus. our room was at the back of the hotel on the third floor. clean, comfortable and quiet despite the ny's festivities we didn't hear a sound. the bed was large and the room was lovely and warm. breakfast was included and offered everything you could want.

Excellent location in dublin, with a great historical frontage, but modern comfortable rooms where everything worked. plenty of parking, and just outside the busy part of dublin.

We would be regular visitors to this hotel,and always find it a relaxing get away. the hotel itself,is full of charachter and charm fully deserving of a four star status. the location in clontarf is ideal for walks along the promenade,with a good selection of nearby pubs and restaurants. as a regular traveller,the only area of improvement is the personal touch,and by this i mean time and attention given to guests....the staff are kept busy,and are under pressure to perform,but whats missing in this equation is theres a lack of welcoming and warmth towards guests,which could take the standard from superbly functional,to exceptional.....

This hotel has all you need for a relaxing break,three restaurants serving quality food. there is a bus stop outside which runs into the city and costs approximately 2 euro they are every ten minutes.

Excellent hotel, especially the breakfast which is 5 star quality! rooms are spacious and well equipted with mod cons and a touch of luxury. the beds are enormous and extreamley comfortable. great value for money and only 15mins from dublin centre.
