Breve vacanza con sorpresa

Arrivati in hotel, a notte inoltrata, abbiamo avuto la sgradita sorpresa di essere mandati in un altro hotel (l'ambassador)per una notte perché non avevano la disponibilità delle camere...questo hotel non si è rivelato alla stessa altezza del primo e abbiamo avuto numerose discussioni per ottenere una stanza dignitosa. il giorno dopo rientrati al central park ci è stata data una stanza dove non funzionava il riscaldamento, ma ci è stata prontamente sostituita. il soggiorno è stato gradevole.

The hotel was ok, but not more than that.

The hotel had problem with the heath, and the room was far too hot to sleep in. the cold wather was hardly running, and it was therefor difficult to take a shower. the girl in the reseption was not very smiley when we arrived, it made us wonder if we were not welcome. but the consiere was very helpful and nice. the location was very good.

Non è assolutamente un buon rapporto qualità prezzo

La prima notte, essendo arrivato molto tardi, abbiamo dovuto dormire in un letto a dir poco scandaloso. il materasso avrà avuto 30 anni. la stanza è molto piccola, niente internet (se non i 200mb nella hall). deluso da un prezzo da albergo decisamente non corrispondente al livello dell'albergo.

Better hotel than i expected

Stayed at this hotel for a one night stay in london. having read some of the negative reviews on certain sites i was a bit nervous. it was a nice hotel that had everything we needed. bed was not massive but okay. room was on ground floor at front so a little bit of noise. a christmas party was on but it did not bother us as we were out until late and it ended by 1am. breakfast was continental style and very edible. overall you get what you get for the money in central london 2 weekends before chrismas. overall pleased and would use again. good value.

A déconseiller, si l on veux garder ses amis

La chambre très petite est meublée sommairement avec un ecran de 40 cm, le tout date de + de 20 ans comme le lit et le sommier bref la façade est refaite mais pas les chambres déjeuner sommaire.

Se non avete troppe pretese questo hotel è ok!

L'hotel è centrale la distanza dalla metro è realmente due minuti a piedi! la reception cordiale e disponibile con servizio concierge veloce e disponibile. la camera non è il massimo ma noi ci siamo trovati bene! qualcosa da ridire sul bagno davvero molto piccolo e con lo scarico lento! tutto sommato non posso dire che questo hotel non rispetti le nostre aspettative sopratutto dato il basso standard degli hotel di londra e il prezzo pagato. per quanto riguarda la colazione è compresa quella continental cioè caffè succhi brioche e prosciutto e formaggio chiedono 5£ extra per la full english cioè uova salsicce bacon e cose così consiglio questo hotel a persone che vogliono rispettare un budget limitato e che non hanno troppe pretese!

Buono

L'albergo è situato in un'ottima posizione. hotel dotato di 3 ascensori. nessuna difficoltà alla reception, anzi sono stati molto gentili nel fornirci indicazioni e prenotazione taxi per il rientro. nessuna difficoltà coi pagamenti, anzi è bastato presentare il voucher e non hanno chiesto altro (tranne fotocopia carta d'identità). unica pecca le lenzuola non pulitissime, ma son stati molto gentili a cambiarcele subito.

Close to the west end

Giudizio positivo

Ottima posizione, la fermata della metro di queensway era dietro l'angolo. zona tranquilla con vari negozietti nelle vicinanze. camere e bagno puliti, un po' troppo piccoli, ma stando fuori tutto il giorno e tornando solo per dormire andava benissimo. colazione continentale buona e varia.

Soggiorno piacevole al central park

Hotel in zona movimentata, di fronte ad hyde park e ben collegato a tutte le attrazioni. ci è stata assegnata una stanza molto bella, con bagno ristrutturato e pulito, spaziosa, confortevole e tranquilla anche se, essendo sul retro la visuale non era il massimo. la colazione è discreta, non servono latte caldo. aspetti negativi: la moquette piuttosto usurata, non veniva pulita quotidianamente, i materassi sono scomodi e inoltre, nonostante fossimo in 3, lasciavano puntualmente asciugamani e prodotti da bagno solo per 2 persone, nonostante ogni sera si facesse presente l'inconveniente alla reception. infine per il prezzo che si paga, la connessione wi fi dovrebbe essere inclusa, invece costa ben 12 sterline al giorno o 5 all'ora. in hotel più economici di londra è gratuita. comunque nel complesso è un buon hotel, da consigliare.

I love london, but not the reception at the hotel.

The reception said that we have not booket room at the hotel. so we jused two hours to find out that we have booked rom at this hotel. the recetionist did not give us an escause and said that our name did not stay in her paper. this was our meeting with the hotel in london but we like our room and the bar was ok. the location was also good.

Causa volo, in hotel siamo arrivati stanchi morti alle 2 di notte. quando ho presentato il voucher con la prenotazione di due camere doppie ( quindi 4 persone) alla reception mi hanno detto che l'unica disponibilità erano 3 camere singole, un altra persona sarebbe dovuta andare a dormine in in altro hotel!!!!per non creare ulteriori problemi, ho chiesto di aggiungere un letto in una singola. l'indomani ci hanno fatto lasciare le valige alla reception con la promessa che al nostro rientro, in serata, avremmo trovato le valige in camera, le famose doppie. purtroppo, quando siamo rientrati le valige erano ancora nello stesso posto in cui le avevamo lasciate, ne mancava una, l'aveva nascosta un dipendente dietro il banco reception!!!! chissà se non è stata aperta....e lo stesso dipendente a gran voce ci ha fatto fare una brutta figura, dicendo come ci fossimo permessi a compiere un gesto simile....dopo aver spiegato tutto l'accaduto, i toni sono cambiati e finalmente, volevamo chiamare la polizia, i nostri problemi sono stati risolti!!! sono un accanito viaggiatore e qualcosa di similmente scandaloso non mi era mai capitata!!!!pessimo in tutto

Nice hotel for a nice price

For the price we paid this was a good choice. the rooms were clean and convenient. extra plus for the fridge. the location was good, very close to the tube. the breakfast could have been better, but ok, we had continental with no cheese, ham, fruit or yoghurt. minus for no luggage room - thoy should really offer this !!!

No luggage storage!!!

The no luggage storage is enough for us not stay again in an otherwise good hotel, we were wondering why the hotel hasn’t tried to find a place to store luggage for guests who won’t depart london till late? the total lack of pegs and towel bars in the bathroom was an irritant.

Ottimo albergo

Albergo in ottimo stato molto pulito, camere spaziose con bagno ampio. luminoso. personale molto cortese anche se parlano solo in inglese, la reception è aperta 24 h. colazione continentale abbondante. posizione centralissima, di fronte hyde park. a 200 mt dalla fermata della metro qeensway e numerosi bus che collegano per il centro. se ritornassi a londra sicuramente alloggerei di nuovo qui. lo consiglio!!! ah...dimenticavo c'è un bar all'interno dove fanno un ottimo caffè che a londra non è facile trovare.

Lage top, keller unbedingt vermeiden

Lage des hotels ist super, 2 u-bahn-linien zu fuß gut erreichbar; recht ruhig, trotzdem restaurants und einkaufsmöglichkeiten ums eck. kontinentales frühstück ist nicht umwerfend, auch das "cooked breakfeast" nicht unbedingt besser, wenn auch reichhaltiger. sauberkeit und freundlichkeit des personals passen. allerdings sollte man bei der buchung darauf bestehen, dass man auf keinen fall ins "basement" möchte, da wohnt man dann in einem dunklen loch ohne fenster und tageslicht. zimmer klein, wenig schrank- und abstellfläche. o.k., wenn man nur zum schlafen kommt und vor allem london erleben möchte.

Sufficiente

Londra è una città abbastanza cara e dunque alla fine questo hotel è in linea con gli altri se si considera il rapporto prezzo/benefici. alla fine abbastanza pulito e riservato. camere discrete. se posso consigliare cercare qualcosa di meno centrale per avere maggiore qualità generale di servizio o prezzi più bassi a parità di condizioni. la prossima volta credo opterò per un hotel di catena internazionale (tipo holiday inn o simili) raggiungibile in metropolitana anche se più lontano dal centro.

Rumori molesti

Buona la posizione e la pulizia. stanza e bagno piccolissimi. pareti sottili con forzata promiscuità con i vicini....colazione continentale basilare ( pane,croissant gommosi, marmellatine, latte,caffè e succo di arancia)

5 person stay in london

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. since we were 5 people (3 adults and 2 children) we had two rooms. both were ok - even though a bit small. in the evenings we used the lobby bar - and it's nice. the people were nice, friendly and helpful.

Soggiorno a londra

Il soggiorno nell'hotel è stato decisamente di mio gradimento. ottima la posizione. la camera,anche se non troppo spaziosa era pulita ed accogliente. utile la presenza del frigorifero. l' unico neo riscontrato è stato la colazione continentale, modesta e poco varia e n particolare la mancanza del latte caldo che però mi veniva portato se richiesto.

Great time

We stayed at the central park hotel for 11 days which is quite a long stay for london. the hotel was great and the location was the best. it was a short walk to hyde park which was great to get away from the crowds and it wasn't on a busy street like bayswater so you had some peace and quiet. there were 2 tube stations near by and you really have to use the tube if you are going to see anything in london. also it's cheap. the service was good at the hotel and we have no complaints about the concierge job. he booked a couple of tours for us and was more than helpful. great time and great place. i would stay there again.

Nothing spectacular

Have stayed at the central park a number of times and find it is a great location for visiting the rest of london. having 2 underground stations close by gives you plenty of options and you always have hyde park to enjoy as well. on this trip unlike others before we got a very small double bed which, although comfortable, wasn't the best for a good night's sleep. other than that no real complaints, we never had breakfast and only a couple of drinks at the bar. i guess i got what i paid for

Great for a "girls night out" in london....

If you´re visiting london and need a place to sleep central park hotel can be recommended. rooms have what you need... bed, bathroom and a tv. but order the english breakfast or eat out... the continental breakfast is not much.... location is great, not too far away from the heart of london and the local shopping street and restaurants is worth a visit.

Fantastic hotel

I have stayed in the bayswater area 6 times in the last 2 years and the central park hotel is by far the best value for money. the hotel is spacious and very clean and bright. i will definitely be using this hotel ahead of any others.
