When first arriving for our 4 days stay in rome we were relocated to an other hotel near termini for 2 days(piazza venezia payed for the taxi back and forth)and then we stayed for 2 days in hotel piazza venezia. the carpet in the first room we were given was so icky and dirty that we couldn't stay there and we were then given another room with tiles on the floor and a rundown and earthy bathroom. the sheets were clean but the floor needed brooming! the location of the hotel is perfectly situated in the inner center of rome.
