Stayed here in september 2007, the hotel is very close to the termini station and (on the other side of the trainstation) the busses to the airport and sightseeing busses. the area is a bit creepy though, like a lot of areas round the trainstation in big cities, but in rome it is full of tourists and police, so i didn't feel unsafe. just don't carry valuables with you and be beware of people who seek contact with you. the breakfast is very very sober. the guy at the reception acted if he hated all tourists. but i've got that impression several times in restaurants, so don't take it personal. there are several steps and staircases, so i wouldn't recommend this hotel to the elderly and disabled.
