Carino ma dispendioso
L' albergo è carino, offre camere spaziose e gradevoli, tuttavia la pulizia lascia un po a desiderare nonostante il prezzo sia abbastanza alto e il servizio ristorazione è davvero misero.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo a 700mt da camden town
Personale della reception molto gentile e molto disponibile: possibilità di lasciare i bagagli anche dopo aver effettuato il check-out. noi li abbiamo lasciati anche prima del chek-in dato che le camere non erano pronte già dalla mattinana e siamo ritornati in tarda nottata. l'arredamento delle camere è piuttosto vecchio ma ben tenuto. pulizia molto buona nelle camere e nel bagno. colazione all'inglese con una buona scelta di caldi -freddi e frutta. davanti l'albergo fermano due autobus notturni - la stazione della metro piu vicina è a 500mt ed è quella di chalk farm (northern line) quest'ultima è anch'essa servita da autobus notturni, quindi l'albergo sia di giorno che di notte rimane ben collegato.

Just ok stay
We stayed here this past weekend and having read the ta reviews, were not surprised by anything at the hotel. turn right out of chalk farm tube station and right at the traffic lights - about a 10 minute walk. check in was very easy and given with a smile. we were a little early but a quick call ensured our room was ready. i had emailed ahead and requested a room with a view and we were duly allocated room 516. the room itself was quite large by london standards and we could see the guerkin and bt tower from our room. the carpet was stained in places and there was no air con (as previously mentioned) and the tv was an old fashioned box type as opposed to the new slim line ones.the bathroom was ok but in dire need of renovation - all the enamel was chipping away in the bath, so we just used the provided bath mat and showered instead of having a bath (which we do like to do after a long days sight seeing) we did notice that some of the rooms on the 5th floor had new carpets but not sure about new bathrooms! our weekend break only included continental breakfast and the person checking us in for breakfast emphasised "continental breakfast only!" didnt ask if we would like to upgrade to full english if we wanted. the continental breakfast was ok. dishes cleared away very promptly but we didnt have table cloths for breakfast. didnt dine here in the evenings but did have a couple of drinks in the bar - price wise very similar to neighbouring camden. we went out in camden both friday and saturday evenings - absolutely buzzing place - no one seems to get dressed up though i noticed :-) and caught the number 31 bus back to the hotel getting off on adelaide rd before the lights. check out was fine and yes we would stay here again but hopefully in a refurbished room next time.

Posizione ottima: a 700 mt dalla metrò. vicinissimo a regent's park. il quartiere è davvero tranquillo. albergo pulito con cambio di lenzuala e teli bagno giornaliera; c'è la possibilità anche di cenare. colazione più che sufficiente. reception sempre operativa e disponibile.

Location parfaite, chambre spacieuse et confortable
J'avais peur en lisant les critiques alors que l'hôtel est super. nous étions dans une chambre immense au 3eme étage (table, 2 chaises, lit 2 places, sdb/wc, bureau). très propre. lit très confortable. personnel professionnel. location très pratique : il y a des bus qui vont directement à camden town (à 5 minutes), de là, les bus vers le centre de londres ou les métros sont toutes les 5 minutes et très rapides (compter 30 minutes entre l'hôtel et le centre de londres). l'hôtel a un bar/restaurant où il est possible de manger n'importe quand. la nourriture est tt à fait correcte (sinon prendre la rue fellows vers l'ouest 5 minutes et on tombe sur une rue animée pleine de restaurants). le petit-déjeuner est très fourni et très bon (nous avons eu un tarif extra : 315 euros pour 4 nuits, 2 personnes, avec le petit-déj continental inclus). la prochaine fois que je repars à londres, je réserve au même endroit ! nb 1 : chambres très bien insonorisées, mais on dirait qu'il n'y a pas de climatisation pour l'été. nous n'avions pas chaud cependant. nb 2 : la télé dans la chambre est une ancienne télé (écran non plat), ce qui donne un petit côté vintage au séjour...
