Hotel is found by going behind the central station. behind here is a free ferry going backwards and forwards roughly every 10/15 minutes to the hotel. hotel is a bit basic and a bit dated but shower and bed were both fine and a good breakfast set us up for the day.

Freundliches personal, saubere zimmer, gute lage, einer der matratzen war sehr durchgelegen. leider gab es beim frühstück keinerlei gemüse oder obst.

Nous avons séjourné un long weekend au botel. nous avons été très contents. le personnel est sympathique et extrêmement serviable. la chambre très bien située, propre, le linge de toilette changé chaque jour. le bateau gratuit pour rejoindre l'autre rive est très pratique.

Bellissima location alternativa a bordo di una nave ormeggiata in un porto poco lontano dalla stazione centrale di amsterdam e ben collegata con traghetto! stanze pulite e bagno piccolo ma essenziale.finestra con vista sul porto! bellissimo a mio parere. colazione ottima e abbondante!! lo consiglio sicuramente!

Arrivate ad amsterdam di sera ci siamo recate in questa nave albergo, che dista solo 10 minuti di traghetto dalla stazione. zona periferica ma ben collegata e con dei locali carini nei paraggi. cabine piccole ma efficienti e pulizia quotidiana. per colazione mi aspettavo più varietà ma quello che c'era era buono.

We picked this hotel for it's quirkiness and the price. it was basic but clean and the bed was very comfortable. staff were all very friendly and helpful. there is a free ferry that runs from behind central station to the hotel several times an hour and the trip takes around 12 minutes. our only gripe was breakfast. the food itself was fine but the onboard restaurant was being revamped so we had to go across the road to a smaller ship which just wasn't big enough to accommodate the number of guests. it was absolute chaos every day with people wandering around looking for tables. the staff who were working very hard couldn't fill the food trays quick enough either so there were often people waiting for refills. i would stay here again but only if the restaurant has been reopened.

Quality accommodation at a fair price. fourth visit to the botel consisted of the usual efficient check in, high standard of cleanliness and service. the buffet breakfast is still sumptuous and sets you up for the day, and the ferry ride over to centraal station still runs like clockwork. recent renovations making this ideal amsterdam base even more fantastic. many thanks to all concerned we'll be back.

We only stayed for one night at the botel, but it was the best experience for our daughter (3 years old). we will definately return for another stay at the botel!

We really enjoyed our stay, good quality for good price! the location is superb, that close to the centre of town and yet so very quiet at night. the room is ok, comfortable bed and clean, private (small) bathroom. all you can eat breakfast! this was our second visit to amstel botel and there will be a 3rd, 4th, 5th,... :)

Einfaches, aber sauberes hotel in guter lage zur innenstadt. man ist mit der kostenlosen fähre in ca. 15 min am bahnhof. reichhaltiges frühstück, freundliches personal (spricht teilweise nur englisch)

L'albergo è molto vicino al centro ma, il trasporto gratuito con il traghetto, permette di avere un buon standard a prezzi abbordabili. le camere sono piccole (soprattutto il bagno) ma confortevoli e pulite, la colazione più che sufficiente con scelta di piatti sia salati che dolci. il personale cordiale e disponibile a tutte le ore e pronto per risolvere qualsiasi problema. negli orari di chiusura del traghetto è possibile utilizzare una navetta dell'albergo. di grande utilità il wifi gratuito e disponibile in ogni zona dell'albergo. con una piccola cauzione è possibile utilizzare cassetta di sicurezza e phon. non consiglio di utilizzare l'affitto delle biciclette dell'albergo perché alla stazione centrale è possibile affittarne di qualità maggiore a prezzo inferiore di circa il 30% al giorno. sono disponibili poche camere familiari.

You get what you pay for basically. the breakfast isn't worth it specially since there's a descent restaurant in walking distance. the location is tricky since you have to take ferries to get there. lastly the walls are paper thin so pretty noisy.

Wir waren 2 nächte im botel und es war super, tolles flair, mal was ganz anderes! zimmer sind klein aber gemütlich und sehr sauber...wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :)

Ci siamo trovati benissimo all'amstel botel! e' perfettamente collegato al centro di amsterdam con un traghetto gratuito che parte ogni 30 min, e ogni 15 min nelle ore di punta. il personale è stato sempre disponibile e molto cordiale, la colazione era abbondante e di buona qualità, le camere anche se un pò piccole (in fondo sono delle cabine)erano pulite e luminose! e' stata davvero un'ottima scelta!

Good hotel for the price, shuttle bus to/from other ferry when ndsm ferry not running. good selection of continental/cooked breakfast included in rate. easy to hear noises from people talking or walking past, but that`s just because it is a boat without proper walls. i slept well though. nice restaurant nearby, not much in the way of scenery on this side of the water.

Great base to explore amsterdam, definately quiet on board at night, too quiet. take some cards if you are planning on a night on board. the ferry is regular and free and is a 10 minute journey across to the city. the only food you can have on board is breakfast which is very good and you can buy burgers at lunchtime but no food available to buy in the evening. shower is small but adequate, room was larger than expected. all in all a good place to stay when you haven't a lot of cash and don't mind not being in the centre of the city.

Sicuramente un hotel fuori dal normale. per una una o due notti puo' essere ok (se non si soffre il mal di mare). la posizione non e' poi male (il traghetto, gratuito, ti porta in circa 15 minuti alla stazione centrale. camere (cabine) abbastanza spartane ma pulite.

Bien situé, 10min de ferry gratuit depuis la gare, assez confortable (pourquoi 3 étoiles ? la salle de bain est minus, pas de chaine télé en français), le petit dej à 10€ je suis quand même très contente parce que c'est ce qu'il nous fallait!
