Comfortable & accessible

The rooms were big, comfortable, very clean, and had plenty of useful amenities, including coffee machine & kitchenette. good location, close to transport & tourist areas downtown.

Comfortable setting, great location

Very convenient from msp to the govrnment plaza light rail station, this hotel saves you money right from the start. a one way taxi is about $40, but the light rail was only $1.75. i paid about half of what the other conference hotels charged, and my room was large and comfortable, the staff friendly and attentive. several nice restaurants are within easy walking distance, as was the convention center. i had no trouble walking everywhere i needed to go. if i'm in minneapolis again, i'll definitely stay here.

Nice hotel in city

We enjoyed our stay at the normandy in downtown minneapolis. we were going to a twins game, and it was the perfect location. we took advantage of the shuttle to the stadium. it was very convenient, but they end at 10:30. it would be helpful if they ran one more right after the game was over, so we didn't have to leave the game early. however, they did work with us as much as possible. we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. rooms were clean and facilites were great.
