We stayed 4 nights. the hotel is at the waterfront, but in between there is a busy road. everywhere in the surrounding they are building. they started at 6:30. the breakfast is ok not great but with a nice rooftopterras. the rooms are clean. beds are very stiff feels like wood. downstairs is only a reception. receptionist were very nice. it is ok but not a cosy hotel.

The hotel was great located near bus stations. we had no breakfast included but went there twice and it was good except from the coffee. the hotel offered us a room with sea view without extra cost. what was uncomfortable is the fact that the rooms have 2 beds (maybe not all but ours had) and as we were a couple we wanted one single bad not 2. also there was wifi only in the lobby. to have wifi in the room there was an extra charge apart from these 2 things the hotel was great : nice rooms , clean, good location.

Stayed for a week in april in a double sea view room. room was well appointed with an excellent bathroom. the hotel is well located on the waterfront within walking distance of the centre of sliema.

C'est la deuxième fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel et je suis très satisfait. aussi (il faut dire), c'est pour son prix imbattable (en tout cas, en hiver, avec des tarifs vraiment bradé). bien sur, c'est un hôtel, pour dormir et pas y rester dans la journée. dans ça catégorie, je ne trouve pas mieux (peut être le bayview hôtel, juste à côté). ma chambre était côté cours (donc, sans vu sur la mer, ça c'est avec supplément). deux lits, plus un canapé, tv avec quelques chaines (pas bcp) gratuits (dont tv5) et bcp d'autres payants, sdb avec gel douche, savons, serviettes, séchoirs pour des cheveux. petite déjeuner (en option payant) sur la terrasse. tout ça pour moins que 20 € la nuits! franchement, chapeau! petits remarques quand même (pas vraiment les critiques): attention, il y a 2 ascenseurs, dont un était constamment hors service. donc, le restant était très sollicité (max 4 personnes), parfois il fallait attendre longtemps pour monter au 8eme pour prendre le petit déj. rien de grave, mais c'est info peut être utile pour certains personnes. je trouve dommage, qu'ils changent les serviettes tous les jours. c'est de la gaspillage. je leur ai dit, mais pour eux, c'est une question hygiénique (et parait-il, les clients en demandent; ce que je ne crois pas). voila, c'était juste une opinion personnelle. comme dans tout les hôtel du monde, le plus grand problème vient des autres occupants, qui ne respect pas toujours le lieux et souvent on les entend dans la chambre. mais ça peut se régler avec la courtoise.

The room is small but it's ok, altough different from the one in the pictures. very good position, just a few step from sliema ferry and bus stops for airport, la valletta and ferry terminal for gozo staff very competent and helpful

Hotel très convenable. excellent rapport qualité-prix. très bien placé: à 20 min de la valette et desservi par de très nombreux bus. chambres très propres et réception accueillante et très professionnelle. quelques points négatifs: petit déjeuner copieux mais de qualité moyenne et chambre mal isolé du bruit. attention tout de même pas mal de chambre donne sur un puit de lumière et non vers l'extérieur.

Ho soggiornato una decina di giorni, la posizione è ottima, come anche la pulizzia delle camere, cose negative invece sono: camere molto rumorose, materassi orribili, televisione costa € 9,90 al giorno e quando funziona, perché spesso si bloccava il programma perché è macchinoso per la gestione e non funzionava, fino al giorno successivo che arrivava il tecnico, posso coscientemente raccontare che è tutto appena sufficente, rapporto qualità prezzo appena accettabile.

In general the hotel is not worth 3 stars according to international standards, particularly the bathroom was not properly equipped, for example there was not shower gel. after our complaining, that was fixed. the major objection was that we had voucher for standard sea view room (see attached). when we came on reception in the evening the receptionist has shown us the mail in which is written double room without sea view. also, he told us there is no available sea view room, but if there will be any tomorrow we must pay for upgrade 20 eur per night. he sad he will send an mail to agency, and he will leave a message to manager tomorrow morning. next morning, the receptionist lady said she will check again. at the same time on reception an english lady said that she has the same case, she has paid in advance for the sea view room, but was but in another room, and explanation was that it's problem with agency. finally receptionist lady said they have not received an answer, so i should complain myself to the agency.

Ci siamo trovate benissimo all'hotel the strand..la vista dal balcone era fantastica, la colazione bastante e lo staff super-gentile. l'unica nota negativa è l'insonorizzazione (inesistente) così durante la notte il sonno era disturbato sia dalla strada sottostante che dal viavai degli altri ospiti...ci tornerei comunque !!!!!

Nur zum übernachten und zähneputzen geeignet. die zimmer (ohe seeblick) bieten. ur allerunterstes jugendherbergsniveau. furchtbar dunkel und abgewohnt. das frühstück ist nur was für sehr hungrige mitmenschen, denen auch egal ist, was sie da essen. das personal ist freu cli h bemüht, kann an den zustäncen vermutlich auch nicht viel ändern.

Posizione ottima sul lungomare di sliema, fermata bus vicinissima. rapporto qualita' prezzo vantaggioso, anche se all'interno della camera qualche miglioria andrebbe apportata. personale disponibile e gentile.

Staff complessivamente disponibile , ottimo prezzo, la stanza-appartamento era spaziosa ma ridava all'interno e si sentivano diversi rumori (acqua che scorreva nei tubi ecc.),la pulizia lasciava un po' a desiderare ma considerato il prezzo non si può pretendere di più (basta munirsi di disinfettanti) sicuramente c'erano stanze migliori ma per le nostre tasche anche questa andava bene!
