Staff gentile , camera spaziosa

Siamo stati veramente bene una notte a milano, lo staff gentilissimo, la camera è il bagno spaziosi . certo un hotel senza troppe pretese , ma non male per il prezzo basso che offre .

Good hotel

I would say that the hotel has a good potential. its location is excellent to be so near to the central railway station and their prices are fair. the room was pretty clean, only the bathroom was a bit old (ventillation was broken there). they also don't have bar/cafeteria or similar facilities thus i would not recommend to choose their "breakfast". it is much better to go into a near "caffetteria" in the morning and buy a true italian café+croissant to start a new day.

Never again

πραγματικά το χειρότερο ξενοδοχείο που έχω μείνει ποτέ.... ούτε τη στοιχειώδη υγιεινή δεν είχε.... καθώς επίσης και η τιμή του για την κατάστασή του απαράδεκτη... ούτε 15 ευρώ δεν θα έπρεπε να το χρεώνουν.... το μόνο θετικό ήταν η τοποθεσία (όχι ιδιαίτερα καλή βάση του κέντρου), σε σχέση με το μετρό. the worst hotel i have ever visited in my life... too expensive for what it "doesn't" offer... hygeine was bellow zero...

Non so che dire

Ho soggiornato una sola notte, sinceramente ho scelto l'hotel per il punto perchè è a pochi metri dalla stazione centrale e il prezzo 36€ però l'hotel era fatiscente, molto cupo e tetro, quando sono andato io l'ascensore era rotto la mia stanza era al sesto piano, mi hanno fatto prendere l'ascensore di emergenza che arrivava al quarto.. la camera lasciava molto a desiderare, però lenzuola e bagno erano puliti.. so che ci sono alcune camere con il bagno in comune.. sicuramente non ritornerò, sono uno che si sa adattare e che si ambienta ovunque.. se andate non vi sognate chissà che cosa!!! il personale era educato e servizievole.. mi dispiace molto per l'hotel xke per il punto e la struttura poteva essere molto più bello!!

The worst hotel i have ever been

I have booked two rooms, when i arrived at hotel, the man at reception could offer me just one room. the reason - today at milan was football game, two people can stay, other two could go away and looking for another hotel. when i showed my reservation, he sad that it is not correct and today somebody ( i dont know who ) told him that on my name is just one room, and it is not his problem but my. after that i showed him reservation in ipad, where is written also the price and two rooms, he still maintained that i can get just one room and if i don't think so, i can call to hotelclick administration. it was 23 o clock, and nobody answered on my call. then old man called somewere and somebody told him, that i have booked two rooms. after that he announced - we have a problem! then he called to another hotel and send two of us stay at that. needless to say- transport costs where our problem.

Worst hotel ever!

Words cannot describe our horrible stay in virgilio hotel. everything (bathroom, walls, floor and ceiling) was extremely dirty. there were no towels (didn't matter cause we would never take a bath there) and stefano asked for 2 euro per person per night as a local tax that we paid but never got a receipt. we would never recommend it nor stay again.

Senza titolo

Soggiorno di una notte che ad onor del vero è stato pagato poco ma molto poco! tutto sommato i due signori italiani che si intervallavano alla hall sono stati molto gentili anche per far lasciare i bagagli...mentre è da dimenticare il signore che serve le colazioni...scortese all'ennesima potenza.

A night with virgilio

The room i stayed in had most probably not been revisited since the second world war. however, it served my purpose for a relatively cheap overnight stay near the station. the bed was confortable and i slept well. fairly quiet. i would in no way recommend this hotel as a pleasant place to stay while visiting milan.

Value for money

Preiswertes hotel an zenteraler lage

Das hotel liegt in unmittelbarer nähe zum hauptbahnhof. zimmer einfach und sauber - sehr gutes preis-leistung verhältnis. kein luxus. parkieren in der gelben zone vor dem hotel möglich.

En eneral contento

Hotel sencillo, pero relacion calidad-precio muy bien, es antiguo y muy centrico lo cual se agradece en una gran ciudad, el comedor muy pequeño, yo muy contento si tengo que volver a milan ire a este, claro manteniendo estos precios, recomendable para amigos y gente que no le le importe estar en un hotel mediano,eso si la limpieza correcta.

Normal hotel for normal requirements

We were travelling to milan by car and stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. we have ordered 1 quadruple, as we were 4 friends. the hotel is normal 2*, room was clean, every day we got new clean towels and shower gels. reception was open 24/7 and they spoke very good english. the hotel has convenient location, close to central station and metro. some minuses in the hotel: breakfast is poor (even for continental) and there is no parking place owned by the hotel, so you can park your car only on the street on paid parking.

Comfortable but dirty

Virgilio stay

I had stayed in this hotel about 10 years ago and wanted to try it again. i had remembered it as being broadly ok. in short, it's cheap and close to the station - that's about it. the lobby is dingy and has poker machines in it - an instant turnoff. i arrived very late (around 2.30 a.m) and there were actually people playing them. reception was helpful and the room was clean but spartan. in particular, no air conditioning so i suffered through a 35 degree milanese night. worse still, this hotel doesn't answer any emails in my experience, as i tried 3 times to organise an early breakfast since i had a train early that morning. no go - this really pissed me off.

My trip to milan

I spent 3 nights in hotel virgilio with my wife in the beginning of september 2008. when we first came to the hotel, a totally miserable room was given to us. there was no air conditioning and no refrigerator in the room. when i requested these items, i was told that the fridge was broken and will be repaired until the next day, without any compensation for us. i was also informed that the hotel charges an extra 10 euros per night for a room containing an air conditioning device. naturally i paid this extra fee in order to rescue our holiday. when i visited your internet site after our holiday, i saw a lot of information about poor things in this hotel. however, when i booked the hotel several months ago, there was no such information available. the place was also classified as a 3-star hotel, now the amount of stars were reduced to 2. this all makes me quite dissatisfied with my co-operation with your company.

Good place for short stay, quite cheap

You get what you pay. basic standard. but very good location, very close to train station (it was the most important for me). nice continental breakfast. service helpful. if you need chaep stay in the center of milan, go there.
